Even if they promise to bring more trains, it will still be the same repainted outdated narrow-gauge train.
We are in modern era and narrow gauge rail system is no longer fashionable, and no western company is building any new narrow gauge train. Countries of the world are moving to standard gauge rail.
People should just admit that Federal government of Nigeria is cheating the Southeast region of equal development. The Internationa airport they started at the same time in Abuja, Lagos, Portharcourt, Kano are being completed while that of Enugu is abandoned.
Good job, First of all, the Lagos video you're showing is called intra-city light rail and it's not subway but rather elevated light rail within the city, which was funded solely by the Lagos state government.
Meanwhile, the PH-ABA is Inter-city train and is funded by the federal government, so there's no need to compare, the Aba state government could embark on a intracity light rail within the state which would be beneficial as well for the populace, and also, the federal government should buy more modern trains for the PH-Aba corridor.

Please where are you from? If the government had constructed standard gauge rail in SS region with modern train and ended up with an outdated narrow gauge in your place, would you be happy with that kind of setting?
Even Amaechi wasn't happy as a minister when the narrow gauge was announced. He quickly protested against it after being used to construct standard gauge in other regions.

This is a good development. All they need to do is build modern train and bus terminals side by side with good accessible roads to the stations. I heard the NRC promise new coaches for the line. I only hope they will be able to substain and mentain this project.

This Aba to portharcout train is different from lagos blue line metro.This is more like lagos to lbadan train not metro,that's for within a city.They should have brought in modern coaches instead of this cattle cage.How come Abs doesn't have roads,l thought they said Governor otti is building all the roads in Abia state?

That’s what the federal government should do first before embarking on the so called coastal road from Lagos to Calabar. This routes are more important than the coastal road. Nigeria leaders don’t get their priorities right and mostly due to personal reasons and incompetence.
Why didn’t you say Federal govt should stop second Niger bridge before anything else under Bihari. Till date none of you appreciated what Bihari could do within 8 years that your PinDiPi party could not do in 16 years. I can see you people praising Governor Oti for this Aba train instead of the federal government

Keep quit there. The second Nigeria bridge was awarded by Goodluck Jonathan and partly paid to commence work before it was inherited by Buhari after the 2015 election. Even the Lagos to Abuja and Abuja to Kaduna was first initiated by PDP government. Most completed projects by APC government are inherited projects.
The second Niger bridge is very much important than the current coastal road that can fix all the dilapidated federal roads across all the region.

Till date none of you has shown gratitudes even when you hated the man so much but still shown human face. The question you should have asked is, why didn't the federal government under Buhari continue with the existing agreement of which is already paid?
To put it straight to you, the Second Niger bridge under Goodluck Jonathan comes with a rail track attached with it on the side and it's more beautiful and cheaper than the one Buhari constructed that cost so much.
But they are going to change the train cause they can't use this for port harcourt to maidiguri they are going to need a fast train

The person unloading the video seems not to understand the difference between a federal project and a state project u don't have to compare with the Lagos subway u that is a state project........ u need to look at the federal railway that is the Lagos Ibadan rail line or the Kaduna Abuja rail line so don't say u have to manage what u have there is no way u can manage what u have in this case what they need to do is build in the same way the Chinese are taking over the world with rail they're doing it in uniform because the target is advanced world class rail system because the lone they're using to build all this things was taking in the name of all Nigerians and will be paid by all Nigerians so don't get confused with this ur weak video the abia state government can build it own state rail all the state in the country can too but the federal railway have to be up and doing well too before this whole thing will fall apart again because there plans was against the southeast like they always fight against us but we're already big in this part of the world thanks to the almighty ja 🤷🏾♂️
