The recording of this work completes the cycle of "Nightsongs" by Mychael Danna. I hope you've enjoyed them. It was tricky for me as I couldn't find a single recording of any of them...so just going on instinct. I'm sure if I lived with them longer, I would have more to reflect with my interpretation. They are really gems and I hope those of you who are curious will try to find the score and give them a try! They were published by Frederick Harris in 1981.

Mychael Danna (born September 20, 1958) is a Canadian composer of film and television scores. He won both the Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Original Score for Life of Pi. He has also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special (Original Dramatic Score) in his work on the miniseries World Without End.
