ostacruiser and your right. can ams are great in mud/water. But the reason why i dont have a can am anymore is because they cant climb worth $hit. here in manitoba canada can am boys just rip up our trails because the visco is junk. you have to pin it all the time just to lock up the 4th tire. and thats even in the new x3. when can am can climb things and quit buring my leg with all the heat ill buy another one. imo can am ia great for mud and water and trails.
Yup, just keep changing the oil, it sucks but you got to get that water out, after a few oil changes let it run for a bit like a minute or two then longer as you change the oil more, the heat will get rid of water too
glad to see some other machines than can am, Not knocking em but just like to see what the other guys have done to different bikes, keep the videos coming, great job
Sounds like spark plugs, make sure your plug boot doesn't have a crack or split in it, and really fill them with di electric, so it squishes out some when you pop them on
Ya a lot tougher on a lower powered machine. Pump,up your front tires to like 15 psi and rear tires to like 5psi and lean back and pin the throttle and see if you can get the front up
they r both kinda tied to me. i love grizzly's b-cuz of the independent rear suspension, i like the 4x4 set up, and the power steering. but the can ams are really nice b-cuz of the horse power or w/ever u wanna call it for when u need it. so its kinda hard for me to pick one over the other.
You know your riding with good people when someone takes a dive and everyone runs in after the bike. I'm looking into buying a 650 xmr within the next month. Havent heard a bad thing about it yet
i have a grizzly. i find them extremely easy to work on. can am are definatly at the pinnacle of the atv world (power, comfort etc) but just because can am are the best, doesnt mean any of the others are terrible atvs. they are all good. just see your dealers and ask to demo them both
Hey osta I was screwing around in some mud today and I think I broke my belt, when you guys go ripping through the mud real fast are you in high or low gear? I was in high and I have a feeling that is what caused the break thanks!
we just had our fisrt big rain here in darwin, australia, its pretty much now the start of the wet/mud season, which goes for about 7-8 months! what do you guys do in winter osta?
Hey Osta when I drive through a small river with my quad and if I don't give it gas it just shuts off. How come your quad just keeps on running even when it's under water?
Osta, on my renegade after I've been in the water for about a minute if starts running funny like there's water in the gas. Then I run it out of the water for about a minute and it run fine? I thought it was my spark plug so I delectric greased them and it still does it? And Ideas?
Okay, do you think it would be okay to use cheap 10w-40 oil just to flush it out since its only idleing for a few minutes before its drained agin? ive got polaris oil for the last change but being 15 i really dont have the money to buy 13$ a quart polaris oil:( Thanks!
Hey osta.. So a couple days ago i was at mud fest and went to deep with my sportsman 500 HO 2013. It sucked water in through the carb vent line (NOT THE INTAKE) and there was a TINY bit of water in the air box. i shut it off as soon as it started cutting in and out. I pulled the spark plug and turned it over. No water came out. so i drained my gas tank and drained my carb, I changed my oil 3 times but its still coming out milkey. Do i just keep changing it? Also do you think my motor is done?
Hey, what all vent lines need to be ran up? I looked for my diff lines on my sportsman 500 Ho 2013 and all i could find was one for the carb and then the diff vent line looked like it was connected from the rear diff to the front diff? didn't make sense to me? also is there some sort of diagram showing where they are? Thanks!
I am partiaL to Canams for sure, I would take a close look at the 650 XMR, great machine for a great price
Yes we are very lucky to have such great riding buds, and the 650 xmr's are great machines
Definitely, we are lucky to have such an awesome riding group
great video, thanks for takin the time to share with us!!
My first quad was a 500 Sportsman, 2007. Great starter machine, I ran 28" Mudbugs
Nothing beats a 1000 Can am in the mud! JMO

Thank you for watching ;)
Awesome vid!! It was a great day meeting lots of great new people. BTW you bike is Unreal!!
None of our close riding group, but there are some around that we ride with time to time, nice quads
Easy to say when looking at it now, I'm sure it felt much different being on it. He'll have her up and running in no time
Sounds like spark plugs, make sure your plug boot doesn't have a crack or split in it, and really fill them with di electric, so it squishes out some when you pop them on
Messinaround(big white 900xp) in my vids just pulled the trigger on one!!!! So pumped for him
Great video as always looks like a fun hole there
Yes for sure, use the cheapest oil you can find. Put the good stuff in once the oil looks clean
I like how when someone has trouble everyone comes running to help riding is more of a team sprit than any other
Ya a lot tougher on a lower powered machine. Pump,up your front tires to like 15 psi and rear tires to like 5psi and lean back and pin the throttle and see if you can get the front up
We always mud in low. Only use hi for hatd pack trail and roads. Low everywhere else
They have enough back pressure to keep the water out and to keep running, I had issues with my Polaris 500 wanting to stall in deeper water
THAT PLACE LOOKS FUN AF!!!
I have had great luck, I have only replaced one boot in 6 years of mudding
I got no idea bud, I haven't even looked at a new Sportsman, definitely try google and see what you can find
Outlaw mst's will last forever, haven't even seen a BM lite yet, and the swamp lites ball up with mud fairly easy
they r both kinda tied to me. i love grizzly's b-cuz of the independent rear suspension, i like the 4x4 set up, and the power steering. but the can ams are really nice b-cuz of the horse power or w/ever u wanna call it for when u need it. so its kinda hard for me to pick one over the other.
Ya, definitely not an Outlaw, they did well everywhere except in the really gooey stuff
Haha awsome, woulda liked to been there!! I give a 10 on the dismount and 9.5 on the dive...
You know your riding with good people when someone takes a dive and everyone runs in after the bike. I'm looking into buying a 650 xmr within the next month. Havent heard a bad thing about it yet
We still quad and bring out the sleds, check out some of my vids from last winter
can am for sure iv owned both 650 brute force and 650 can am and the can am puts more power out and more fun to ride.
ya 3:15 lol, we don't ride with them too often
i have a grizzly. i find them extremely easy to work on. can am are definatly at the pinnacle of the atv world (power, comfort etc) but just because can am are the best, doesnt mean any of the others are terrible atvs. they are all good. just see your dealers and ask to demo them both
motor intake and cvt intake and exhaust

we just had our fisrt big rain here in darwin, australia, its pretty much now the start of the wet/mud season, which goes for about 7-8 months! what do you guys do in winter osta?
It is
Tires, snorkels and exhaust I think thats it
Polaris makes a great atv too, but they don`t like to be on their side in the water, like all the others, lol
Sorry if its been asked before, but whats mods does the Scrambler have?
Thanks and keep coming with the great vids!
Finally a brute force in ur vid hell yeah
agreed, sometimes $hit happens
Heck ya!!!
The Scrambler was running Monster mayhems
yeah. i want a 700 grizzly and my brother wants a can am. i love both quads.
searching for seashells down there...lol
get a can am if you can afford, they are top of the line when it comes to wheelers dude.
how often do you replace CV boots? Just one tiny rip and the CV joint would be junk with this type of ridiing
Problem is the tires can only go up to 6 or 7 psi :( maybe I should get one of the atv you guys were chatting about
Awsome vid as usual
I need to come ride with u guys!
I'd say you all go through bearings like crazy
Saskatchewan, Canada
Hey Osta when I drive through a small river with my quad and if I don't give it gas it just shuts off. How come your quad just keeps on running even when it's under water?
Kinda seemed like the guy jumped off the polaris just being dramatic and it costed him big time! Seems like he could've prevented it. But it happens!
Osta, on my renegade after I've been in the water for about a minute if starts running funny like there's water in the gas. Then I run it out of the water for about a minute and it run fine? I thought it was my spark plug so I delectric greased them and it still does it? And Ideas?
Osta im deciding what quad i should get for nex summer 650 outlander or 750 brute maybe 800 can am
Okay, do you think it would be okay to use cheap 10w-40 oil just to flush it out since its only idleing for a few minutes before its drained agin? ive got polaris oil for the last change but being 15 i really dont have the money to buy 13$ a quart polaris oil:( Thanks!

Bad day for popos yesterday for sure!!!

How do you guys do wheelies in the water
I cant wait to get my new Brute Force 750, My Honda i have now won't push through stuff like that.
she was full of water, he'll have it going right away
Gotta love the ammo can on the Kawasaki
What are snorkels for? Intake?
hey osta I have a Polaris sportsman 500 what is your opinion on them
Says the guy with the sexiest ATV in the world!
Monster Mayhems on the Scrambler? How do they do Osta? About like a Mudzilla or a Terminator I'm guessing?
Slow motion, would have to think there was more then ruts playing a factor in that one! Lol
Scrambler has tires, snorkels, exhaust and 2" lift for mods, as Kevin Ezell asked below but I cant reply to the older comments
To be fair, tipping over on the side could have happened to anyone.
Did anyone else see the 4 wheel drive stopped in the middle of the water wheely on that polaris ha ha
Osta I have a manuel Suzuki quad runner 250 with mud light tires and a winch. I'm pretty sure that will not work
Is That FireBirdTA?
do yall have any brute forces runnin with yall?
hey osta when are one of yall gonna pick you up a RZR 1000?
Where is this at?
what tires is he running they kinda look like mayhems
The 850 motors hate water! Hope she didn't get a drink!
Push the throttle, lol, jk. If you have a machine with some power they are easy to do
How do u make the bikes sound like that
Looks like I'm getting MST! Do you have a email I can message you? And will mst's look right with Carlisle trail wolves as front tires?
When could he have easily caught it? When he was under the water...lol
Just got tossed at the end...bummer.
and where are all the mudholes u guys go through
Currently for sale on craigslist, description: always on trails, never abused
i wish my three wheeler could do this stuff
Osta Cool!!!Cool!!!
Bad luck on the tip over.could have happened to any machine. Hold on tight.
Ejecto Seato Cuz
lol snorkel went under.
After market exhaust...like HMF.
why didnt he use 4wd?? or is the 4wd on the scrambler so bad? :o
Im getting a used quad because i cant afford new ones and under 10 grand range also they have to be modded
Where the Hondas at
at the dealership
Did i just see mega mayhems?
Nooooooo :(
that guy did not have to completely go under the water lol if he jumped on the right side of the quad he would have saved it
do any of u ride yamaha grizzly's?
No such thing but renegades cost about 15 000 Canadian
