The Infamous would be my pick for 1995, as it’s influence on east coast on hardcore hip-hop is nearly unrivalled. Furthermore, Shook Ones, Pt II is definitively one of the greatest hip-hop tracks. Respect to your honourable mentions too 👍
Recomendations: - Entroducing by DJ Shadow (1996), same level than Donuts by Dilla - Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox (2001), I prefer it over Labor Days and I love that album, seriously recomendable - A Piece of Strange by Cunninlynguists (2005), third best HH album imo And.... *Death Grips*

How cool is it that you've got the low end theory in what 92 or 93 and then 2008 16 years later with Q tip. He's got that freaking silky smooth voice man every girl I knew loved his voice
I agree, I have both of those vinyls but I prefer Bazooka Tooth, and I definitely would have to take the Blueprint in that scenario. Honestly for my personal taste I would’ve put The Cold Vein, but regardless of if you put that over The Blueprint, it’s DEFINITELY above labor days. Again no disrespect to Aesop but Cold Vein is arguably the greatest contribution Def Jux made to Hip Hop

I love DOOM and god rest his soul, but it’s not aoty worthy. Not a bad album by no means, but it just aint up to par with the new and innovative stuff that has been introduced such as Tylers album

Just title the video conscious rap because Monster is probably the best rap project of 2014, jeffery easily the best of 2016 and Rodeo should be an honourable mention for 2015
@@beastieboysenjoyer3826 Only kinda eh song on Rodeo is Flying high. Rodeo has better and more diverse production than Rodeo despite being older, is more sonically diverse, has better rapping on it, has higher highs. Im a Travis fan but Astroworld isnt close to Rodeo in terms of quality
@@beastieboysenjoyer3826 Jeffery is easily the best hh project of 2016. Has some of the best vocal performances in hip-hop, an insanely consistent tracklist, creative concept of each song sonically sounding like Thugs idols, the tape has multiple sounds, great features etc. Its a masterpiece, defo wipes tlop which was unfinished anyway
Where's Wayne? 2009 Should've been Tha Carter lll, even kids were singing lollipop in Africa and A milli. Lil Wayne is underrated google how much albums he puts out a year. You'll see what I'm talking about..

IGOR is such an amazing album 💜
The Infamous would be my pick for 1995, as it’s influence on east coast on hardcore hip-hop is nearly unrivalled.
Furthermore, Shook Ones, Pt II is definitively one of the greatest hip-hop tracks.
Respect to your honourable mentions too 👍
Up north trip give up the goods and trife life still sound fresh today

Recomendations:
- Entroducing by DJ Shadow (1996), same level than Donuts by Dilla
- Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox (2001), I prefer it over Labor Days and I love that album, seriously recomendable
- A Piece of Strange by Cunninlynguists (2005), third best HH album imo
And.... *Death Grips*
APOS was released In 2006
Death grips
I don’t think Weezer’s blue album is a rap album, but I respect your opinion!

Me personally would say the black album is the best from 2003
Actually for 1995 I think that one revolutionary rap album was The Infamous by Mobb Deep since that album is so killer!
Yo MF DOOM got best album of the year two times in a row???
How cool is it that you've got the low end theory in what 92 or 93 and then 2008 16 years later with Q tip. He's got that freaking silky smooth voice man every girl I knew loved his voice
2014 should've definitely been 2014 Forest Hills Drive by J Cole
2002 - The Eminem Show
Bro
1995:5th wheel 2 the coach
it's absolutely
Respectfully 1996 goes to All Eyez On Me
The Blueprint and Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ should have taken the 2001 and 2003 spots and All Eyez On Me should of have the 1996 one. Bad list.
You did the most to avoid picking Kanye for all those years
🚨Q-Tip mention🚨
The Eminem show didn’t make your honorable mentions 😮
That’s kinda tough but you got very very good picks
Man just put Kanye, Denzel & RTJ, congrats.
Smiling With No Teeth is so damn good but so ridiculously underrated
Doggystyle > 36 chambers
No 🤣
Nice joke
🚨MF-doom mention🚨
I agree with most of it, but 2001 Labor days? I love Aesop but Jay-Z takes the cake that year with The Blueprint, no question about it.
Facts
I agree, I have both of those vinyls but I prefer Bazooka Tooth, and I definitely would have to take the Blueprint in that scenario. Honestly for my personal taste I would’ve put The Cold Vein, but regardless of if you put that over The Blueprint, it’s DEFINITELY above labor days. Again no disrespect to Aesop but Cold Vein is arguably the greatest contribution Def Jux made to Hip Hop
Personally id probably fit Daquiri Factory Cocaine Raps volume II by Andre Nickatina on there, that album is a straight up classic.
W for the genesis owusu
YESSIR 2017 MULTIALUMNI
Jay Z had the better album in 2001 and 2Pac had the better album in 1995
Definetly not lol
@@modernmusicmayhem769 Definetly yes.
@Alexander Underrated

2015 - To Pimp a Butterfly
2016 - Coloring Book
2017 - DAMN
2018 - Victory Lap
I think in 2013 it should be MMLP2
Massive W for Fantastic Damage over The Eminem Show. Same with Funcrusher Plus you definitely got some good taste
*ass taste
Only 3 changes I would’ve made. ‘96 should’ve went to all eyez on me. ‘98 to it’s dark and hell is hot and lastly, ‘99 should’ve been blackout! by meth and red. Overall very valid and fair list.
🚨J dilla mention 🚨
1996 = All eyez on me
2014 forest hills drive?
Genesis owusu yesss, so underrated
It Was Written> Reasonable Doubt
True, in many ways I think It Was Written might even be better than Illmatic
We all forgetting that MF DOOM and Czarface dropped a collab this year?
I love DOOM and god rest his soul, but it’s not aoty worthy. Not a bad album by no means, but it just aint up to par with the new and innovative stuff that has been introduced such as Tylers album
Black on both sides over 2001 is interesting i like it
I’d say you nailed 2018 in your first vid, but respect

2020 - Mac Miller - Circles
2021 - Tyler The Creator - CMIYGL

No album in 1995 was better that Built for Cuban Links NO ALBUM!!
Canibal Ox The Cold vein is the second best album
I agree with 2014, 2016, 2017 those are my top 3 albums ever created
for 2021 I would pick SIMBI
In 2001 stillmatic, blueprint droped but what you pick?
And Missy Elliott So addictive.
I would have switched Aquemini for Miseducation and Aesop Rocky for Miss E so Addictive
How tf did J Cole not even get an honourable mention for 2014
Just title the video
conscious rap because Monster is probably the best rap project of 2014, jeffery easily the best of 2016 and Rodeo should be an honourable mention for 2015
I like Monster and Jeffery but they ain't better than Pinata, 2014 FHD, The Divine Feminine, Entitled, Life of Pablo, CLPPNG.
And, Astroworld > Rodeo. Rodeo has three bad songs and Astroworld has no bad songs
Just because it aint trap doesnt make it conscious rap
Where's Wayne? 2009 Should've been Tha Carter lll, even kids were singing lollipop in Africa and A milli. Lil Wayne is underrated google how much albums he puts out a year. You'll see what I'm talking about..
This shit is 🎩
For 2005, common was ok to have that, but the Game's Documentary may be the best of that year.
Grammatik- ,,Światła miasta,, produced by Noon
I agree with this list except that imo 2013 should've been Wolf and 2017 should've been flower boy or 4:44 and 2021 easily goes to CMIYGL
biased much?
W list
We both have so many of the same AOTYs lol
No way Jay z got 96 instead of Pac bruh No fucking way
Wu-tang, nas, kanye west, Tyler the creator, and Kendrick Lamar are god tier hip-hop artists
Tyler is good af but he is not on their level
Especially kanye and kendrick
2Pac and Biggie too
@Alexander maybe like top 100 but hell nah he aint near the level of wu tang nas kanye or kendrick
@Alexander naw kendrick and nas top 3 kanye top 10 and tyler top 50
