    What's the largest image it can print? I love this idea.

    • @ImagingSpectrum
      @ImagingSpectrum  9 місяців тому +1

      @user-kf7vf5bf4z the largest platen is 10x12 for a DTG print. If you are doing multiple imaging on a shirt could do DTF and press them all at one time if you have a large heat press.

    The biggest size platen is the 10x12?

      @ImagingSpectrum  8 місяців тому +2

      @GelosLandinni that is correct. It is Epson's new entry level printer.

    Hello, I would like a garment creator 2 configuration for DTF film

    • @ImagingSpectrum
      @ImagingSpectrum  3 місяці тому +1

      @GabrielCardoso-u3h One of the best things about Garment Creator 2 is that the program is ready to go once you have downloaded it and the printer driver. If you already have it installed and connected to your printer the DT Film button at the top will have presets ready to go for you.

    Is pre treat needed?

    • @ImagingSpectrum
      @ImagingSpectrum  9 місяців тому +1

      @letsgo_esko You will need pre-treated garments if you plan on printing direct to garment. If you plan on doing direct to film then you will need powder for the back of the print to be able to apply it to the garment. Take a look at some of our other videos to get a better idea on how the two styles differ. You may reach out to us as well at www.imagingspectrum.com

    Ik this is a very broad question but how often would I need to order replacement cartridges for this printer with a moderately detailed designed ? ive been weary of cartridge DTG printers bc of how much the ink may cost

    • @ImagingSpectrum
      @ImagingSpectrum  3 місяці тому

      @mev7709 That is a very broad question but can be answered by the job estimator on the software that is free to download. With that software you can see how much ink you are using before you use it for a print. With that being said than you could base your usage off of that information.

    Do you know the print speed?

    • @ImagingSpectrum
      @ImagingSpectrum  9 місяців тому +2

      @ChrisDawn Yes the video has a graphic displayed at 2:35. It shows the speeds the different modes. Those modes at Speed, Quality, and High Quality. The chart breaks down Light Garment, Dark Garment, and DTF prints for each mode. For any addition question please feel free to contact us at www.imagingspectrum.com

    Damn Epson messed this up and I’ve been waiting on them 1. No need for a dual printer when they already have a DTG , should’ve just did a stand alone DTF 2.print area is too small …should’ve been a minimum of 13x18

      @@thetruthandnothingbutthetr6484 the new Epson F 1070 is meant to be an intermediate printer meant to be able to give you fine details, but yet have the ease of use for beginners. We can completely get what you were saying but that’s what the F 2270s is built for with the capability of going up to 16 x 20 platen. If you take a look at our shorts here on UA-cam you will see the sneak peek of the DTF roll printer from Epson.

      @@ImagingSpectrum If Epson had they did their market research and actually looked at what the consumer is doing they would’ve made a DTF printer based on the Ecotank 8550 model that the amateurs are already modifying…nobody wants it needs all of that and they didn’t have to do it

    The print area is to small. It is not even A3 format.

    • @ImagingSpectrum

      @anderslarsen8546 This printer is intended to be an intermediate printer for groups or people that are just starting out. The larger Epson Surecolor F2270 maybe what you are wanting to look into. We also have some videos on that printer as well.

      @anderslarsen8546 6 місяців тому

      @@ImagingSpectrum The concept is good but with the small print area it is still limiting possibilities. If I print on a t-shirt it will only be small images.

    • @ImagingSpectrum
      @ImagingSpectrum  6 місяців тому

      @@anderslarsen8546 the platen is still a 10x12 size or 12x10. Leaving plenty of room for you to do 12 in wide graphic for branding and such by simply turning the garment sideways.

    Epson clearly doesn't understand its customers. Until they do the will be competing with the old printers that people are converting and Chinese companies. But nice try.

      I can buy three Epson surecolor p5000s for the same amount that not only takes a roll and sheets as wide as 17 in. I know Epson can do better

      @thetruthandnothingbutthetr6484 Місяць тому

      Yes …this was a complete waste of. Do they not see that people are converting their 13x19 printers . Should’ve just did a stand alone DTF with a 13x19 print area …I’m not even going to consider this printer
