The story of this MV is that Jin is from outer world, and while traveling through the universe landed on Earth due to a broken spaceship. He was living on Earth waiting for his spaceship to be fixed so he can return to space. In the meantime he meets and creates a valuable relationship with the little girl (Army), who teaches him things, and in return, he helps Army to ride her bike (and be on her own). When his people finally come to get him on Earth, he excitedly runs and bicycles to the spaceship. Then, he realizes at the end that instead of returning to space, he wants to stay on Earth to be with his Army.💜

OMG what a perfect idea we have to do that. maybe Jin will have a solo album before BTS return as a group or else he will be the only one not having an album. so maybe it would be better to have the bell at his solo performance if he makes an album before they return. There are so many theories about this MV. One that's very prominent is that Jin is an alien who got stranded on earth after his spaceship went into trouble. It's related to the fact that Jin had never dream about being an idol. He had always want to be an actor and went to college to study to be an actor. Yet, he "got stranded" in the world of idol. During his stay on the earth-which portrayed the time he spent being a member of BTS, he comes to fall in love to ARMY-who are represented by the little girl. Jin taught the little girl to ride a bicycle, is represented Jin preparing ARMY to be independent, to be on their own for the next 18 months. He gave his helmet to the little girl to protect her-he wants ARMY to be protected from harm while he's leaving. Jin, ended up returning to the little girl instead of going back to the planet he came from because the little girl is now his family, ARMY is now his family. There is a tattoo on his neck (you can see it when Jin was at the back of the truck), they're braille letters that mean "ARMY". When he taught that girl how to ride a bike, it tells me that BTS is teaching us to be okay while they are away (because of the enlistment) and that in the end, they will always go back and choose us -- ARMY, because we are their HOME, we are their FAMILY. I feel you Fam, it got me emotional too on the first watch of this MV.
I guess the story of this MV is that he is from the outer world who landed on Earth due to a broken spaceship. He was living on Earth waiting for his spaceship to be fixed and get picked up. In the meantime, he creates valuable relationship with the little girl (ARMY). When his people finally came to get him on Earth, he runs and bicycles to the spaceship. Then, he realizes at the end, he wants to stay on Earth to be with his new family.
It gives me the feels that the little girl represents ARMY. When he taught that girl how to ride a bike, it tells me that BTS is teaching us to be okay while they are away (because of the enlistment) and that in the end, they will always go back and choose us -- ARMY, because we are their HOME, we are their FAMILY.
Jin's vocals was exemplary, the MV was cinematic and out of this world too. Such a beautiful masterpiece. 💜
