Is the factory sport exhaust the one that comes with the X51 kit?

I think yes, the exhaust had to go together in the option. which seems logical to me but to be confirmed

No. X51 changes nothing about the exhaust but the headers to fit the special CNCed heads that the Powerkit engines use. PSE is just mufflers with a bypass.

The PSE sounds better but I prefer the look of stock tail pipes.

Scart exhaust in France sounds much better than PSE and for a fraction of the price. PSE 4000€, Scart Ultima Récital 2800€. La messe est dite...

C'est clair mais à l'époque il n'existait peut être pas encore.. puis la majorité des gens qui achetaient une Porsche neuve préfèrent prendre le tout en option chez Porsche plutôt que d'aller monter des pièces.

Except the two tips on the right are fake. It is still one exhaust pipe but the tips are a "double tip" - lame! I don't know why there is even an option. They should ALL be sport! On my 996, I tossed the mufflers for aftermarket ones (Mille Miglia) and it made a huge difference in sound and feel of the car.
