The funny thing I find about people who hate birch is they love oak the most. They're the same kind of tree they are literally directly related and white birch wood is one of the most commonly used woods for cheap furniture because it stains easily to look like another wood.. those chairs in doctors office waiting rooms with the wooden legs and arm rests? Stained birch 😂
Birch planks are one of the most versatile wood blocks and the striped logs are good but the normal logs are just not good. Acacia is the opposite with good logs but bad planks.
Next hardcore of this, could you start empty hand? No items in inventory... No blocks... just that lucky block... i mean... you got it easy starting with those blocks, specially since you called this hardcore. hehehe
Pro tip instead of throwing the bottles of enchanting on the ground throw them directly up and have them oand on your head for some reason it gives you more XP

I like one block videos, they are entertaining and I only have one issue. I wish the nether and end were voids as well so you can’t get tons of resources from those places while getting a lot less from the overworld, it just doesn’t feel balanced. I suppose fighting the ender dragon in the void would be difficult though.

hi welcomintv on the beacons , instead of placing a glass block , do it with a glass paint . then you won't see the glass but it will still be colored .

You have to mine grass blocks with a shovel or something that is enchanted with ‘silk touch’, that will give you grass blocks instead of dirt.
At 3:18 you get a well, if you go under the well you can get some iron blocks
