Most under rated band of Canada. I believe there is there is so much hope for music after hearing this album. It is seriously as awesome as Apologies to the queen but in a totally different way. Thanks
new album *howls* i like the song! groovy, sexy and in your face but polished enough to be both a disco and rock dancefloor jam, but still very moving and bittersweet and really heartbreaking. feels like home but i can't stay long and bam the outro is amazing
yay! I'm excited for more Wolf Parade and a chance to see them in person again. I came out (quite a long ways, actually) for the spring mini-tour this year with a best friend. We had gotten really into WP during the hiatus with the expectation that we wouldn't get a chance to see them play as WP. So the show meant a lot! And, finally, it was the impetus that got me to seek out different projects by them which my friend had been trying to get me to do for years.
Dan's definitely phoning it in this year. This is just Cry Cry Cry all over again, and the second Operators album was worryingly forgettable. (True story: I forgot it existed 'til just now when I clicked on this okayish but also foregettable song.)
