    Thanks for posting Land Rovers and Jeeps eating mud together. I have no idea what anyone is saying but the laughs and smiles clearly shows off-roading is universally good, "clean" fun when it's shared with a good group of folks. Keep having fun and keep posting those tough-looking and strong-sounding Land Rovers and Jeeps!

    This counts among the greatest videos I have seen on off roading!! The challenge - the laughter - and the fact that after all they went through, none were all that muddy!
    You rover bashers note that these D2's were diesels not the the deuce and a quarters you are think they are. Oldcratch you nailed it.. they were all top dogs in this challenge.

    Thanks for the awesome Vid my Turkish friends. That trail was pretty muddy, good thing you guys were prepared. Surprised the V8 jeep didn't break the front axle with those boggers on!! nice rigs.

    Both vehicles performed fairly well under heavy modifications, but if both were to be completely stock (tires, suspension, etc.) Without a doubt the jeep would dominate on any technical trail, disconnecting sway bar links and locking diffs are a huge advantage, granted the right driver that is. Good video.

    I want to go overseas and just wheel in foreign countries. and just share the camaraderie of going out and getting out jeeps, land rovers, or whatever you wheel in dirty. No politics, no drama. Just mud and trails. Who cares about language barriers, because the common language would be 'you like driving places normal cars can't? follow me'

      @oldcratch 11 років тому

      drew lowery I've owned 7 Jeeps from mild to wild, and they were/are all excellent at hill climbing (hence why they make the best rock crawlers on the planet), unless you are referring to "straight-line hillclimbing races", then I agree .
      All that aside, I would be PROUD to own ANY of the vehicles in this video.

    When i got in clay, i put chains on all four. Theres no pissing round then. I had a 66 Bronco, three on the tree with hi and low range. It had a straight six, with front and rear oil pumps. I cut the fender wells out and put 7/50 good year bar lug tires on it. When the going got tough i'd chain her up. I was never passed

    I had superswampers on my jeep but the lugs started tearing off because it is horrible for road travel. Was this in Turkey or Michigan? You guys should check into buying some of the tank-tread for mud and snow. Granted it is expensive, maybe $+10k USD for a set of 4 tank wheels.
