Best way to remove stickers is to use Zippo lighter fluid. Soak sticker and wait till it saturates all the way thru it will take on a transparent grayish look. Sticker will come off easy. Clean off lighter fluid with alcohol or acetone.

Good video, I have never seen a aluminium backed gasket for a SBC other than a thermostat housing. I think I’ve had one of those that had aluminium. Now LS Motor yes 90% of them are gonna be aluminium backed or framed gaskets.

Would you use an electric fuel pump as another option?

If I did it over again, yes I would. Now depending on how this mechanical ones works out I will figure out if I may switch over.

Hey, been enjoying these videos. Been thinking about building one myself. This may sound like a weird question. But, how tall are you? My biggest concern is that I’m 6’3” 275lbs. I don’t know if I’m gonna fit. Lol

Not weird at all, considering we are talking about a T Bucket lol ...I'm 6/3 280 and I fit fine. It all goes to how you do the seats. I went with the bucket seats because I wanted to sit low and not fall out the side. As for comfort. I think they all suck regardless of height. Hope this helps!!

a while back in on of my you tube videos i built a tv table
one piece of the plywood had some sort of camo cloth glued to it
not sure why but i used carb cleaner a to take it off and it came off with out any trouble
i dont know if carb cleaner would damage fiberglass
and i should mention that i pulled the cloth off and only had the residue left to deal with

I will try that one also, it's almost like they baked the darn sticker on the gel coat but considering the workmanship of the fiberglass I'm not surprised. I can get the barcode off it's like the second layer

@@GearHeadzGarageUSA well it sounds like it could have been placed on there before the gel coat was completelty cured
if thats the case sanding through it may be the only option

@@GeorgiaRidgerunnerThat's exactly what it was. I finally got it off actually, and then ended up covering the area with some super high build primer so I can't even tell anymore that it was there. But it did look terrible after I finally got to it. I made sure I told them how dissatisfied I was but I don't think they really care lol
