Why don’t I bump into more hardcore Aesop fans like us on a daily basis. I spread the word on AES pretty much daily just because I believe it would enrich peoples lives Must not sleep...
There are acapellas... jeez I need to get my shit together, how is it that seemingly noone did yet, seemingly neither did I, so, yeah, guess what I'm telling myself here may be something like Hey, you need to get down right now, get the fuck down and get out!
Aes literally has so much content out here it's easy to get lost in his discography. i forget about this beat tape every now and then and am so glad to be reminded of it. Hopefully one day their hell bound father will sweep them up from the void and bless them with vocals.
after hearing the first line about "fuck the future" i say to myself i should find out what that is from, i might want to watch it. literally later that night i'm watching the series called Deadwood and hear that clip. Wtf.
BEATS,LOOPS,BLEEPS,BLOOPS, AND CRAP THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT Love Aesop's sense of humour and humility! 😃 He's been around for so long and has so much content, it's like finding pirate treasure when you find something you haven't heard before.
I know, right! I actually knew about him from since 20 years ago or so, but never really have gotten into his stuff, guess I was just not ready yet, and/or that it's even better this "finding a hidden lost treasure" way. I got really really into it last year summer 2022. UA-cam suggested 'Go Hard' by Homeboy Sandman (prod. by Aesop Rock), then I went on and checked out the Lice EP's and well, now here I am, still finding stuff I didn't know before and the rappers i listen to these days, more than every second time it's Aesop Rock. Had to laugh when hearing him saying in one song "I been doin' this longer than you've been interested" :) Hail Mary Mallon might be something you wanna need to add to your treasure map too ;)
Just watched the episode of Deadwood from the opening sound bite. I shoulda known the most diverse and extensive wordsmith in hip hop would enjoy that show.
The first time I ever heard Aesop Rock was on the song "dirt" by Tobacco. It's funny listening to this album now because it reminds me a lot of Tobacco.

its ok, you cant help the fact that your father was a traveling waterbed salesman during your formative years as a child. it will be ok...and you must, deal with your anger issues towards women. you are your own being, your own entity. you have to take into consideration that your mother, did not choose to throw you in the dumpster behind Dennys..to freeze and die a cold, lonely death at the age of 42min. She was suffering from a myriad of psychological issues at the time. It will be ok...
Sky VonBronson Fuck you I'm proud of my dad's waterbed salesman trade. Just because I never got a hug doesn't mean that many great deals were had on waterbeds.
I just came here to buy a waterbed and now I'm siphoning gas for a living out of parked SUV limousines behind Denny's and these Caribbean dudes rob me sometimes, I stepped on a used needle earlier and I'll have to go to the free clinic, but right now? Right now I had to come back to this particular comment, to see if there were still any of those phenomenal deals on waterbeds. I love a good extra watery waterbed. I know your mom from college.
Appreciate it Aesop, as a currently unknown artist/fan of yours/supporter of your work/ someone who is influenced-inspired partially by you this is dope. Keep on keeping on!
