Sunnis have 4 mazhabs(school s of fiqh), Wahhabi(a part of Hanbali mazhab), Deobandi, Barelvi(both in India), Sufism( veneration of the walis). Shia has, the Twelvers(ithna ashariyah), the Seveners(Zaidis), the Sixers(Ismailis, Bohras), Alawis(Syria). The Druze lives in Israel. The Bahais and the Ahmadiyyas(Qadiani) are not considered as Muslims. I don't know why this speaker didn't mention about all these. His main purpose was to say that, Shia Islam is the only truth, not the Sunni Islam. 😊
The declension of sunni Muslim is not correct. All Muslims follow sunnan or habits of the Prophet of God, Mohamed(pbuh). The Shia are mentioned in existence in the Koran since the time of Prophet Ibrahim - in significance. The important thing is that Ahl il Beit are identified as very special people with special duties donned by Ali (AS) , the second of Prophet Mohamed appointed by God at Uhud with the descent of the sword of truth - as Haroon was to Moses. Prophets descend in pairs, Yahya, Jesus, Moses, Haroon, Ibrahim, Ismaeil, Issac and so on. Ibrahim (AS) had two wives, each wife was supposed to bear duties equally in two lines of the same tribe. It didn't work out that way. Ahl il Beit are a special line or tribe of Al Imran with lineage via Ali and Fatima(AS)Al Hussein, Al Hasan, until today, some of whom are not identified. - Jesus (AS) is of Ahl il Beit.
Is there any shia from Malaysia? U r not alone.. we r in the right path with Ahlul byt 😊 I think if sunnis from Malaysia saw my comments here they will cursed me a lots😅 and i will be in jails because of my belief😂
You mean Zaiddiyah. Shiism breaks into three sects : Twelver (Also, known as Ithna Ashariya or Jafariya), after them are the Ismailiya it has had many branches in the past such as the Qarmatians. But the only two surviving branches post Fatimid split are the Nizari (known as Agha Khani) and Tayibi/Mustaili (known as Bohra), after them are the Zaiddiyah who are in Yemen (Yemen is majority Zaidiyyah from its “Shia” population, although both ismaili and twelver are present). In the modern world when we say Shia we mostly refer to ithna ashariya as the term Shia has become synonymous with Twelver (also as we’re the largest sect). Zaidi whom you’re referring to are zaidi Syed’s. Zaidi Syed’s and Zaidiyyah are two completely different groups.
Also, there have been many past Shia sects whom we categorise as the “Ghulat” (separate sect). One of the surviving “Ghulat” are the “Alawites” in Syria (also known as Nusayris). Btw Alawite is an ethno-religious term/group so not every Alawite is necessarily “Nusayri” as many may be Twelver, Sunni, etc. (Also, yes there are Twelvers as well as Ismailis in Syria apart from Alawites. I’ve met a few personally)
Why you worry about the majority-minority concept? As you are a Shiah Muslim, be loyal in your belief. Let the Sunnis be loyal to their belief. And there are different sects in both Shia and Sunni. The Karbala event was a political one, because Caliph Yazid wanted Imam Hussein's (RA) allegiance. Hussein (RA) refused to give the allegiance. Also, the Kufans were unable to help Imam Hussein because they feared Ibn Ziyad. Imam Hasan and Hussein were the grandsons of our Prophet, and we love them, too. I am a Sunni, and I follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah. 🕌

I wouldn't say that conclusion necessarily follows. When it comes to guidance then it's not a democracy. But things outside of that why not?
If in a family of 10, majority want to eat biryani whats the problem? 😅

My favorite lecturer….Salawat
Sayed Ammar thank you from the bottom of my heart for your enlightening lectures. Can I ask when you were mentioning the Nabis who had a following why you did not mention Nabi Adam SAW? Also, I found Yemen missing from your rhetoric about the countries helping Palestine. What is the reason for that? Thank you once again
He might have forgot. I have been praising Yemen about how strong they have become. ❤❤❤ Inshallah the Yamani will come soon.
Because truth is always threatening to the oppressors
It s a Friday!
Good lecture..no doubt about it..we Indians couldn't send our help to Palestinians bcoz the reason is crystal clear we don't have a pro muslim govt. But I am really disheartened why didn't you mention saudi arabia in your lecture...a financial stable and powerful muslim country doing absolutely nothing about it.. quietly watching the genocide.... you keep blaming indo pak in your lectures..i would really appreciate if you be brave and condemn the inaction of saudi
Yes, as a Iraqi, I hate Saudia Arabia. They are the cause for what is happening in the Middle Eastern countries.
Palestine is more a political issue than a religious one. It's about the LAND of Israel/Palestine.
After the Holocaust, Jews returned there, and in 1948,Israel was formed.
Now, the issue has religious element in it because, the Zionists believe that land was given to them by God.
With the US+EU support, no Muslim nation can win over Israel.
Iran's military is bigger than that of Saudi Arabia. Could Iran be able to fight Israel?
Saudi Arabia most Of them is a sunni

Oh okay thanks
❤👏👏👏
It’s Saqifa conspiracies that started after Holy Prophet Haj and then Ghadeer and then in Madina! Which made us Shia minority
Assalamualaikum sayed ammar . I'm a convert to shiasm.
Just wanted to know which quran tafseer you use cuz i wanna use that too . Or is it okay to continue with the tafseer written by sunni scholars ?
Ps: the quran we saw in your Ramadan series .
The tafseer by agha pooya yazdi is considered very good

Indeed, there are many shias all over North Africa
25-30 percent are Shia according to Google.
when i researched it, it said 10%
Still a minority.
Like, he mentioned in the lecture who knows the number of the actual Shia. Since, what google tells you isn’t based on real facts due to the actual Shia population not being there again due to taqiyah, countries not recognising their Shia population, etc
@@ammarplayz429Yh google/wiki usually present between the ranges of 10-15, 15, or from 15-20. All varies, that’s why it just proves that it doesn’t really mean anything due to as sayed ammar mentioned taqiyah isn’t taken into account, several countries don’t recognise their Shia population, underestimation, and various other factors.
Don’t forget about Zaydies in Yemen with Palestine even if you don’t like them.
very sad indeed....also in s---pore, there are only 1 shia mosque and 1 jaffari muslim association-(husseiniya)....thats about it....why isnt anybody supporting and building more shia mosque? how strange it is...

@@Thevictorious77Singapore is still similar to Malaysia in mentality at least the Muslim population so even if there are more shias than “said amount” I don’t think they’ll want to be open about being Shia.
There are many more Muslim sects other than sunni and Shia
They fall under these 2 umbrellas. He said it at the beginning of this lecture.
@@Ghaazi_110What is the "umbrella", if the aqeedah were different?
❤❤❤❤
Jesus/Isa(AS) was born about 500 years BEFORE Prophet Muhammad. He was of virgin birth.
Christians consider Jesus was from David/Daud (AS) lineage.
Even ahmaddiya is a minority, lesser in number than Shia.
Is there any shia from Malaysia? U r not alone.. we r in the right path with Ahlul byt 😊 I think if sunnis from Malaysia saw my comments here they will cursed me a lots😅 and i will be in jails because of my belief😂

@@liahnatashah5145Shiism is banned there officially
Whats the difference between zaidi shia and twelver shia? From what im aware of, Zaidi is a cast, not a sect of shia...
Great lecture . But you failed to mention Saudi Arabia who imprisoned Shia clerics and others then executed them.

@@itzhabibi_tv8777 Prophet left us the Qur'an. We follow it.
He left us the Sunnah, written and preserved. We follow them. All the riwayats have "sanads".
If the Shias have their versions of Hadiths, I don't mind. We follow the riwayats of Aishah, Al Muwatta(Malik),Ahmed Hanbal, Bukhari, etc.
We have ulamas in Egypt, and in our country.
Importantly, we avoid any shirk, not equating any OTHER person with Allah!
We don't follow Aga Khan, Bohra sayyeds, Ayatollahs, or the teachings of many sufis. We follow the fiqhs of 4 imams, as during the Ummayad and Abbasid Caliphates, they were the main scholars recognised by the Ummah and the government of that time, because the fatwas were accepted by the ruling government.
E. g. Can the Iranians object to any new fatwas from Qom and approved by Ayatollah Khamenei? Hope you understand.
Like Khomeini's govt, the Ummayad and Abbasid Caliphs were powerful. That's why the Caliphs needed the imams fatwas, because the Caliphs were more interested in politics and power. 🤲🕌🇲🇾
