I also greatly admire his singing technique, the positioning of his vocal cords, the shape of his other resonance chambers, and the distribution of breath strength. It is completely different from other tenors and is full of emotion. I made this video because I want to learn from him. All four of them have excellent breath control.

I was most impressed by Infantino's voice. It is big and resonant. My impression is that he, too, was impressed by his vocal gifts. It is too much for my taste; his performance is exaggerated. Livi's voice is pleasant. But he treats the song as an Art Song and overinterprets it. A Canzone e Napule is a Folk Song plain and simple and should be treated accordingly.

I completely agree. Infantino's voice is simply divine, and among all the historical tenors who have sung this song, he might be the champion. However, the final high note was a bit strained. The vowel 'e' sounded too flat; he could have lifted his soft palate a bit more, reduced the sound coming from the hard palate, and added more head resonance to make it better. For the final high note, Lualdi and Albanese performed better. Livi's exaggeration comes mainly from the fact that he uses too much breath force in his oral and nasal cavities. While this can express a more emotional tone, it's easy to overdo it, which makes it unnatural. He needs to enhance his breath control in areas like the pharyngeal cavity and avoid pushing too much air through the oral and nasal cavities. His tongue position also needs adjustment. Thank you, as always, for your high-level commentary.
