18:04, Asia like South Korea, Japan and Boracay, and Las Vegas, Nevada, it's cold in autumn and winter.
It is true. Positano is the most expensive town on the Amalfi Coast with prices on par with the island of Capri, which is a boat ride away. Sorrento, Ravello and Amalfi are much quieter and more affordable. ❤

Amalfi Coast, that's where Geoge Clooney's castle is located. It's an amazing place and view where the rich people live. That's on the other side of the beach. The private part.

felt the same way when i visited Positano. The beach backdrop was gorgeous but the beach itself was mehh😂 i guess it’s the experience, the culture and of course the food😍. Also if you’re from a tropical country white, fine sand beach is a normal view, so your standard is pretty high.
That fruit drink is a must to start the day great! 🍹

Thank you for keeping it real! We also visited Positano this summer and we had the exact same thoughts. Capri is also pricey, but it had more of a luxurious vibe compared to Positano so we liked it way more haha
We’re so sad we didnt get to visit Capri! Nexttime forsure 😅
We were there September 2022 and we stayed in Amalfi Coast area. You’re right, Positano is overrated. We didn’t like the Spaggia beach either. We love Capri way better and explored more of Amalfi.

22:02, Really? No way. Europe is cracy, so expensive to buy food and shops. But Portugal is cheap when I went to Lisbon last June and it's awesome. You should visit Lisbon, Portugal soon or next year.

19:13 and 19:49, What, more than 200 Euros to buy the dress? That is insanely high and super expensive. It's not worth it to buy dress for more than 200 Euros, so you better bring your own jacket, even though it's not cold, but the weather will change, unpredictable and the atmosphere is unstable when the cold front or low pressure area is coming, so be prepare from good to bad and worse.
I should remember this because I think y’all said it in an earlier video. Are you Canadians? And also are you working remote still or doing this full time now?

Amalfi and Positano are very nice places but very expensive ❤❤❤ I hope you could visit Sicily too (It’s in my bucket list too and hope it is not expensive there)

I am from Italy (Naples), Sicily is expensive if you go to Taormina, which is like the Capri of Sicily, but Catania and other places are cheap.
The problem is that everyone goes to the more instagrammable locations instead of "real places".
A lot of people go to Positano, Capri and Amalfi, but they skip Naples, or use it just to reach those luxury places, when Naples is way cheaper and with much stuff to do and see.
Same goes for Catania, people just arrive there and immediately go to Taormina, when Catania is full of things to do and see and more cultural.

What, you end your trip to Europe? I know it's cold in Europe in the winter, so I understand. Don't forget to visit Portugal soon or next year, it's nice and cheap. I went to Lisbon, Portugal last June and it's nice, awesome and cheap.

The beach looked very muddy probably would give that one a miss. Town looked nice though but with currency exchange rates video's are probably the closest ill probably ever get to Europe

Yes what you see on some videos are over exaggerations. One does get disappointed when the place is not what ts supposed to be. Being with the people of each country ,talking to them is more interesting.Still Positiano looks beautiful.Window shopping.

Hi There, where did you both stay at Amalfi coast?
Hi we stayed in a mountain town called Agerola. Its about a 30 min bus from amalfi or 45 mins bus away from Positano. Its not a convenient area to stay. Wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a vehicle or a scooter.
