Lecture notes 📝
1. Khoof: fear . Sense of terror. Not deeply mixed with knowledge
2. Khashiya: Fear. Fear mixed with profound knowledge. Fear mixed with deeper understanding and knowledge.
3. Allah swt said its the scholors that have khashiyah of Allah swt
4. Prophet saaw said i am the one who has the most piety and my khashiyah is the greatest amoungst you.
5. Those who know something about something understand it better (khashiyah) as compare to the one who just have fear and know nothing about the problem
6. A momin with khashiyah of Allah swt knows how to become out of the anger of Allah swt, how to find the pleasure of Allah swt and for that knowledge and understanding is required.
7. You have fear of a theif but when you fear Allah swt you have khashiyah of him.
How to attain this khashiyah
1. Know more and more and more about the Lord of the heavens and earth Allah swt. Try to have more and more knowledge of Allah swt.
2. Know people who have khashiyah about Allah swt. The pious ones, humans and angels and stones and all sort of animals.
3. Anyone except Allah swt when you fear them you run away from them but Allah swt you come near to him.
I just watched that video and was moved, how did that parrot reacted, i advise downlaod that video and the next time your nafs tells you to sin just sit use headphones and listen to that video for once and am sure you wont be able to do anything but to glorify Allah swt

I have a request for you. Would you kindly demonstrate to us how to pray the Salah, please?
The correct of prayer, the way the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself prayed and instructed us to pray?
There are tons of confusion regarding the way of prayer (for example, the prayer difference between man and woman, etc.) and people are simply following others blindly. I feel so left out for not being able to perform the Salah correctly as a female.
Salah is obligatory for every Muslim 5 times a day. So, if the ummah isn't praying in the right way then we are facing a huge calamity. May Allah reward you and your team immensely.

It contains authentic hadiths on how to pray and was very beneficial to me,just thought to share and up to my research there is no difference with a womans prayer and a man s prayer the only thing is that the men can only say the iqamah and azan not women.

The third layer of khushuu is to establish Khashyatullah (fear of Allah) before going into the salah.
The two types of fear: Khawf and Khashya
Khawf is fear
Khashya is fear mixed knowledge, and mixed with awe

Our Prophet saws said:
"Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death."
Dont forget to recite Ayatul kursi before sleep
Our Prophet saws said:
"When you go to your bed, recite Ayatul Kursi and you will be protected by Allah, and no devil will come near you until morning."

u made me shit into my pants. when i thought i have fear of Allah, my heart just started to jump around during this video. thx for this important reminder, eventho i read those punishments in the Quran and watched them on utube, it still didnt reach me like now. because i always thought his anger wouldnt hit me like that. i forgot who im standing infront of in every prayer.... may Allah have mercy on us..... 3. rajaa (hope) to be forgiven (know Allah more)
ibn qayyim said "if your rajaa causes you to do more good deeds then you expect good from Allah and it causes you to find short cut because of Allah's mercy because he is merciful then it's delusion "ghurur"

I might be saying this from ignorance, but isn't wishing you were never born or you were a tree and etc considered ungratefulness to Allah?
Ustadh mentioned that sahaba(may Allah be pleased with them all) were saying this out of خشي profound fear of Allah. They were so much afraid of being held accountable for their deeds that they had wishes like that. Therefore, we cannot say that they were being ungrateful. I'm sharing this out of my understanding of the lecture, Allahu a'lam. I hope Allah blesses us with wisdom of comprehending well these lectures.
You said something liberal recently and it really put me off. I really liked these lectures, but pushing any hint of liberalism into a Muslim community while we are suffering in every angle possible, is a red line.
