I hit several YT reviews of this thing to try and figure out what it is, and your presentation is far and away the most concise, intelligent, clear and helpful. Outstanding work, thank you. Subscribed.
awesome video man, thanks for breaking it down so simply - I was gonna mute every track and export everything one by one manually until I saw the export part at the end!
For sure. Yeah I was playing around like it's gotta be a relatively easy way to do this or big miss
Thanks man, really clear and to the point, very helpful
Best Tutorial I have seen on this. ty
Looks really cool, I like the export functions 🎶
Watched it again. Nice presentation.
Getting close to buying 3.1 now
Bit late but great tutorial, im loving play beat!!!
Thanks for the demo! Looking at the iPad version; it seems that the app could be v useful for live playing. Cheers! Yes sir!
Definitely would be crazy live. Especially for like guitarists to just have jam tracks ready or made on the spot!
@@thisisalbe I bought the iPad app yesterday. I'm using it with Glitchmachines Tactic (a VST drum sampler). If you are layering the loops it kinda sounds like the old Machinedrum from Elektron. Lovin' it.
Peace, thanks for the breakdown of the browser! 15 quid upgrade, nice.
nice overview, thanks, I think I'll need a copy now ;-)
Just a thought, could it be that the density doesn't sound good because you're at 160 bpm? Having these triplet kicks at 80 bpm will probably sound much more natural.
Hey Andy, that's actually a good point. I'll have to try it on a slower BPM! Appreciate comment and feedback.
GDay Mate
For under $100 I got both this and Scaler 2. Basically the equivalent capabilities of going to 2 years of vocational music school, assuming one actually learns how to use the plugins well. Scary tech.
i only want to use this as a midi sequencer to trigger samples from battery 4. is that possible?
You can have one track receive midi data from another (battery receiving pb3), but that's at the daw level. From within the plugin's build though, that's a good question. If I were you, I'd have Battery receive midi from Playbeat until the beat is ready, then simply export midi to the battery track and close playbeat.
I use it on my iPad from time to time. Helps me to start beats faster. Then I only use my Mac + DAW for the melodies and mixing. Do you think it's any better or worse than Loopcloud Drum???
Hi, I have a question about the live performance section. My sample cuts off when I press the pad because it wants me to hold the key down. How do I make it play the entire length of the sample without having to hold the key. Would really appreciate any help. Thank you
When you drag the midi file onto a track and want to play the midi file with the playbeat 3 preset sounds it also triggers the pattern to play, so you're playing two things at once. Very frustrating.
awesome bro
@@thisisalbe bro I have novation launchkey 61 mk3 can you share template bro
There is plenty of AI music that sounds exactly like if a human did. There are only so many possible combinations. Only vocals so far aren't totally AI but even that will eventually be totally computer generated. It's only about when a human is satisfied with what the AI did. You will be able to talk to the AI and say things like up the reverb tail or unbalance the delay, etc.
The human touch is becoming less important though, it’s undeniable.
Sadly.
LOL i know what plugin you are talking about... ill be the judge seeing how i have both fyi Drum monkey is better then what people may think... just saying
I've used them both too and It's not worth the price tag imo. Too many other options from more established companies at a cheaper price.
Enjoy though. To each his own. 🤷🏾♂️
