Some of the points are placed almost in a straight line. You need to zigzag it as much as you can. Also since the the chassis rails are far apart, you can place planks across and place targets on it. This way the volunetric accuracy would be much better rather than following around the rails. Blue laser is not as sensitive to lighting as such. Did you try increasing the exposure? Dark objects will need higher exposure.
Thanks for the tips, the issue with picking it up seems less to do with markers and more the exposure setting. When I did it in the dark, it picked them up no problem.
21:33 you have to adjust the exposure with the buttons on the scanner or in the software or just put it on auto, helps to compensate for dark or light rooms
Really good once I got the lighting right... that said, I need to try playing with some exposure settings to make it better. Plan on doing this for the next scanning video.
@AlsopAndSons looking forward for next video. there is another scanner out there in market named simscan. If you can manage to get hands on that please try to make a comparison video between the two.
Probably because I had to speed it up so much it didn't show it well. I did get it to work. You have to have your phone on the same WiFi connection as the handle or what they call "Bridge". So you have your laptop on the Bridge WiFi and your phone on the Bridge WiFi - then you can scan the QR code in the Creality software. Also, you have to turn off any firewalls you have enabled on your laptop - or at least for the Creality Scan software. I also had to restart my laptop after I did that. It took a couple attempts, but after all that it connected on my phone via a web browser - which is basically a type of remote desktop session.

For me screen duplication on my smartphone don't work. Have you the same issu ? I don't see anything on your smartphone.
