- So we are back with some more Conqueror's Blade as we dive into the new tier 5 unit the Hashashins, I was initially quite underwhelmed by this unit but as i've played them more and more i've been starting to find them quite enjoyable. To my mind they play mostly like the tier 3 Sons Of Fenrir, using them as a fast hard hit burst damage unit that can be effective but is also quite fragile.

So some tips I've figured out along the way with these guys, also bottom line veterancy:
-Use Prowl to both enter AND exit engagements, their leaping ability and 2 or 3 second CC immunity is surprisingly good for unit preservation.
-Fairy obvious but still notable: Use Eviscerate as often as possible
-Smoke bomb in the middle of engagements wherein some sort of ranged has started firing on you, then the second the smoke starts to clear, use Prowl for the additional smoke bomb and quick escape
-Engagements should almost never last more than 60 seconds with these guys, ideally between 25 and 35 seconds if you're trying to preserve as many as possible.
If anyone else has other tips I'd love to see them!

Really enjoy your videos Evo! I don't even play Conquerors blade but I've been watching your videos for about 2 years.
All I can say is keep up the good work and if you want to show gameplay with your favourite units, there's nothing wrong with that. What I would like to see is some more videos of you showing off exemplary teamwork skills. Whether it's just a game where you throw a unit of paladins infront of some allied archers who weren't paying attention or you're playing with one or more people and showing that intuitive teamwork where you both make a push at the same time or it's a stalwart forti combo that just kicks some major butt.
At the end of the day, you should just make the content you want to make. So just have fun with it because, even though I don't play Conqueror's blade, I can still tell when you're enjoying things (cut to the video titled "I brought a pistachio" xD).
Maybe try the game, we could always use more players.
I been playing games a long time and this is the only one I've played for 3-4 years, sometimes daily.
@@MrOfcourseitsme I would like to, but I don't have a good enough setup to run it. I'm also not in a place where I'm financially stable enough to get a new one 😅(It's been 9 years since I bought my last computer at around £300 when it was new).
It definitely is something I'd like to get into though, I keep on watching these videos to remind myself that I wanna get this game as soon as I have a new PC. xD
My dudes, they are not meant to fight on the pushes or into bulk mobs. They are assassins, so, supply takeover or retake, final point cheeky grab before any significant deffense is settled or just to hunt backing out enemy heroes.
I find that a sprint is really good on them as the jump they use needs speed and it helps you build up speed quickly and it can help em escape.
Yeah these guys are supposed to be literal assassins and definitely play like the Sons of Fenrir, if nothing else their design is awesome looking. Honestly you hesitating with them is understandable as they aren't the most tanky unit ever but are slightly more so than Sons of Fenrir. They're definitely meant for 1v1s and taking out enemy ranged.
GG btw last Sunday on Heling Fjord map, didn't even know you were on the other team (I was on defense) till I saw you get the Hat-Trick badge and just started freaking out about it.

Damn that Epic Damage Doctrine is sick, sad I must have missed that. So far I am somewhat torn about the Hashashins. Sometimes you can nuke enemies, including heroes, quite well. Other times 3 longe heroes without units can just tear you + your Hashashins apart because the Hashashins simply fail to apply dmg. Not sure if they are hitting the air or wtf is going on, but I often find them just not hit enemies.
If they work, they are quite fun. I think they are in a great spot once the whole targetting problem is solved. I hope they won't be buffed and op, because their speed would make that a nightmare.

That doctrine was introduced at the end of season 12 in an event I've put it on my maidens
Devs should add more unique time-limited stuff like that doctrine which wouldn't be acquirable after the event ends so it makes them very unique

Use 3rd abillity when u getting dmg. then enemy unit will loose agro on you and u can hit them first without teaking dmg

people who liked shield or armored unit will face trouble using this units... but this units however its fun...especially when you want to annihilate enemy`s range units ..
Hey Evo, can u please tell me more about the glaive set u used on this video ? weapon stats/str or armor?
never armor always HP... also i guess hes on his poleaxe setup just playing glaive for the dmg buff to his units
@@iyaf4l3x64 I think he is using poleaxe w armor. But in this video glaive skills had a really decent damage, I was wondering is it about his weapon maybe?

Yeah they really need to chill on some of these crowd control on weapons or add diminish returns for CC. U shoudnt be CCed for more then 3 s before u can react. If it is at least 1 move in between that is fine

For a gold unit this looks pretty bad to be honest
if the Fjord map wasnt part of this season...this would have been the worst season ever.... eveyone detest vanilla dualblade invisibility magic in a "historical" battle game.... but the smart devs added a OVERPOWERED new assasin weapon that can make you fly (that is not even what the weapon is used for!!!!!) and makes DM a waste of time because of new weapon gameplay style. (hit and run and let team fend for themselves). And and evidence that new weapon is overpowered.... join any dm and you see 70+% of players use it!!!! because every skilless kid wants to use a cheaterweapon to look better they they truly are with vanilla. If they dont nerve this weapon completly in next season.... lol they will lose so many players that queus will become 10+min.... also devs need to stop with adding so many new units all the time .... REWORK old units please... not add more units people will never use anyway.
Nothing will change bro. This is how the game works. There is always an OP class and always an OP unit. They always come with 2-3 or 4 new units every season, regardless of what we say and most of them are garbage or gets nerf enough to become garbage.
Every now and then they buff old units and they become OP and we begin a new round of crazy. Been playing for two years now and people have been talking about this game will end for a long ass time and players have quit and come back. The game has always been unbalanced and will always be unbalanced.
So play or don't play.

I started playing after I saw EVO play Pavise Crossbowmen and fell in love with them. Grind my ass off to get them, one and a half season later they got nerfed so hard, they become practically unplayable. I was shocked and wanted to quite, but found a new unit. One season later nerfed to the ground like a sack of potato's. My first class Musket with bombs, cause I wanted to be a Grenadier, got also nerfed. Now the Ult bomb is useless and the skill info wrong, cause the damage don't match the stats, cause they put a cap on it.
This game is what it is. So I just go with the flow, but I will never play Hammer, Pike, Duel-Blade or the Scorpion crap they have introduced. They are OP and takes the fun out of playing.
@@karamelx85 myslef i play musket (did longsword / bow / halberd as well in past)for a long time now ... i also dont play hammer/ pike/ dual or new weapon.... because unlike others i have a backbone/spine and will never want to cheat gameplay by playing overpowered weapons to get an edge over others. Devs seem to play those weapons themselves because THOSE weapons never get nerfed and their runes are op .... musket on other hand gets nerfed each season... and youre right... compare damage from ULT from any other new weapon and compare that to ult bomb from musket..... LAUGHABLE devs....
You think of yourself as high and mighty and honorable. JUST PLAY WITH YOUR UNIT and the hero cannot do half a shit. This is one of the better seasons in terms of balance. And who plays dm anyway, i only do it challanges or with a 5squad of my house for free wins
I think they should take a break season to actually make a healthy game state. Just my opinion though
