It sounds Hungarian to me. The instrument is a cimbalon, a Hungarian instrument played with hammers, kind of a higher tension dulcimer. Also, the slow/fast structure suggests a czardas.
@@bassavino ~ Kinda YEA! lf you are a dancer ...you would know more than l as, l am of Russian decent, but l just got into ballet, a year ago or so. l _cant believe_ how vast the culture is! So thank you for the correction. :)
@@theresa42213 I'm an American not of Russian descent and love dance including ballet. Although I have serious issues with Russian politics (and American politics as well!) it's beyond debate that so many Russian dancers are magnificent. It's a real treat that everyone can enjoy these marvelous dancers through platforms like UA-cam.

Would you now post the Allegra Kent video please? Allegra Kent was a lovely dancer and I would like to see her in that video. Thank you.

The monstrous stamina and strength it takes to look like a weightless wisp of spindrift cannot be overstated. She is a miracle.
Practically the only time I’ve seen the last variation done at tempo. She was a beautiful dancer, pure, nothing extraneous.
