I think I found some nuanced references they made, likely insinuating, as usual, a narrative I don’t want to explicitly state. But they didn’t need to bring up terms like 'terrorism,' 'peace,' 'we just want to live in peace,' or 'every country has to protect its people,' etc. These veiled statements, though casual and cursory in this video, reflect their tendency to blame the forcibly occupied people and normalize their suffering and the atrocities committed against them.
U are not allowed to marry outside your religion, you are not allowed to touch other humans ... Thats something i'll never agree to and i found that very regressive.
Thank you Harry for sharing this video. It has been quite eye opening and really gives us a peek into the lives of a community who you can tell are so proud and welcoming of their heritage.
I'm not Religious in any sense, but people are Lovely Mostly .World Peace ,There's a thing ..It will never happen ,to many nutters getting away with ruling some countries 🤦♂You are Living the dream of Many travelling the world Harry .Fair play to you ,And thanks for sharing 👍
My story was my mother who is Jewish was in a coma in Vienna Austria and were from New York. I knew nothing about Austria but called Chabad and 2 very nice guys who spoke English and German help us and spend weeks with us and gave us a place to stay till we found a long stay hotel and feed us and still keeps in touch 25 years later. The nicest people, I personally can tell you they are not political and are just looking for knowledge and peace. Thank you Harry
Im a totally secular Jew but knowthese folks very well. For context, as a young traveler, I spent dinner with Chabad guys in Alaska and India, but they are literally anywhere, from China to Africa, you will find a Chabad Jew that will invite you over for Shabbat dinner. Also interestingly, the community spirit is so strong, you will never see a homeless Jew. Plenty struggle, none are starving.
Harry’s videos are really rich in variety! I’m so happy to get to know the Hasidic Jewish Family through Harry’s videos! Harry, you did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🥰🙌
I love the fact that like Harry says 99.9% of the world are kind, friendly. For me I have never understood religion. Yes if you go to say like this video to see Jewish people its awesome to see how much they love each other and others and its the same for most religions but when you get them preaching that religion in an area where another religion is it always starts fighting that leads to bigger things. I do not have any religion i just love everyone and feel religion should be kept private then we would have world peace i think. Another great video from Harry, It is nice to be able to see how others live with there faith and god. UA-cam is the perfect way to see how things are in the world! Just follow Harry like i do 😁
Harry, there is an African Proverb that says " You can't know about people by being afar from them" essentially, it means go near to people, if you want to learn about them.
Very interesting and informative vlog Harry! This was of special interest to me so thanks for featuring it. :) Btw, any plans of coming back to PH Harry? Near Chiristmas time would be perfect I think. :)
@@harryjaggardtravel I hope so Harry. But as you may already know, since it's "ber" months now, Christmas decorations are already up in public places here. 😄

Islam and Hasidic Judaism are very close to each other in fact. Some similarities and differences I noticed: 1. Women care about modesty, in Islam also women are men are not supposed to shake hands or touch. Also in Islam women are supposed to cover their heads and stuff. 2. Interestingly, also in Islam a woman cannot marry a non-Muslim. Although I would say converting to Islam is much much easier than converting to Judaism. 3. Kosher and Halal, Muslims are also forbidden to eat various stuff, like pork and wine. Any sort of meat slain by a non-Christian or non-Jewish (in the name of any other God besides the Abrahamic God / Allah). 4. Although its not that common many religious practices also have resemblance to each other, like yamaka (kippah?) Muslims men are encouraged to cover their heads during prayers. 5. Beard, in a very similar manner to Hasidic Jews, Muslims men are strongly encouraged to leave their some beard grow. I'm sure there are many other stuff that have strong cultural reflections among Hasidic Jews and Muslims.
Well, Islam is essentially just a twist on Judaism, seeing as Islam it about 2400 years newer its hardly surprising there are many similarities. Christianity just took the easy bits from Judasim and Islam kept the hard bits but all 3 are essentially the same. Islam came 580 years after the Christians took the easy bits and they said "No, we want some of the stricter rules back a new name" in a nutshell.
@@usefulrandom1855 No, in islam we recognize Judaism and christianity along with their holy books and prophets as gods attempt to convey a message to humanity. We believe in all the messengers in those religions, including jesus, we just dont belive he is god. Islam started when god sent down the quran to prophet muhammed pbuh as a last attempt to convey the same message. That quran has not been corrupted or change til this day.
A suggestion for interesting travel and content would be to visit with the Amish in the Pennsylvania, there are traditional settlement areas in Indiana, Lancaster, counties in the state of Pennsylvania.
Harry, good job on the video. Did that jewish leader in this video contact you? Or, was there someone from the jewish community there like a public affairs representative?
Hey bro. came India (Ahmedabad) Again and meet shanai. She is good girl for u. She is very hardworking girl i seen her. But i didn't tell her I seen her in vlog. So bro came india again and give her good life..❤
Nice video ❤. But one question I ll like to ask: why they separated themselves with others people (having their own ambulance, not social with us, theirs own School)? Etc...
Concerned with keeping themselves spiritually clean, the Hasidim are preoccupied with ideas of biblical concepts of purity and contamination. In this ordering of values, separation from outsiders is inevitable and understandable:
Until one has to follow national rules like selective service, paying taxes, etc. Some groups, especially religious, do not pledge allegiance to the country they live in and feel exempt from rules that the majority follows based on their religious beliefs. Few wish to discuss this and it wasn't discussed here either. 🤔🤔
Interesting Yoni's philosophy on where we are hopefully headed. China has a substantial growth in Christianity with the state in some places funding 50% for the founding of new mega churches. According to certain think tanks, before we as a species can become interplanetary (startrek), we need to first establish peace between the creeds/nations/races. Unfortunately there are certain religions that have pockets that sit in the way. Rabbi Yoni is a credit to his faith and his community. שָׁלוֹם בְּרָכָה וְטוֹבָה
