Dear Ma'am, Thank you for your informative videos and great applause for your efforts to spread the awareness. My son is recently diagnosed with the risk ton autism spectrum disorder. He is 21 months old on April 15. Ma'am, I suspect that this is Virtual Autism and we have stopped TV and any screen for the last 8 days along with spending 3-4 hours in the park and outside locations daily. During this time he has stopped many behaviors. The main priorities we have is eating without screens, receptive speech, and social aspects. If you please can help us in this regard with some tips and a home program we would be highly grateful to you. Best Regards, Ashu
Your videos are very helpful mam, but I personally had a very bad experience of special school where they do not work on the therapy part rather they simply focus on home science activities and NIOS studies. Also they didn't work on the overall development of the child. Hence left the school and Later got an occupational therapist who worked wonders on the child and now he can easily read , write sentences and started understanding many things as well. Because for a kid with special needs therapies are more important along with academics. Parents can play and work with their kids which will make them more aware of things and surroundings. Also parents with financial stability can always send their kid to a normal school along with a Shadow teacher who will help the child to focus on being independent, socialize as well as academics along with other occupation therapy done at home or any centre.
