I can not get an appt with a nephrologist! I live in Kansas City area. My gp has sent in a referral, I have called them, it has been months! No call backs for an appt in KC, MO.

I have Chronic Kidney Disease. My eGFR is low, about 41, my creatinine is high- 133. But they still want testing with contrast. It makes my back hurt right about my waist on either side of my spine. Worries me for my kidneys, but Drs pooh pooh me!
