Yes I was very surprised on the tires they were very sticky. I like the compound that used on it.
There are two things I dislike on this beautiful truck: The screwed body mounts and the totally uncovered pinion / spur gear!!!

I have been interested in this truck, but not sure if I will pick one up.
I was very surprised on the build gravity. I can't wait to try it on my trucks and then i can give it a good review on how it runs.

I am really on the fence about picking this one up but a couple of things have me hesitant.
1.) Never owned a RC4WD truck so I'm unsure what to expect.
2.) It is more on the pricier side. SCX10 Base Camp is another option.
Honestly, that half-cab body really draws me toward this rig. It's absolutely beautiful and I love Toyotas.
Looks like the only mod i would do is metal drive shafts or buy alot of extra plastic ones knowing the RC4WD D90 shafts made it one whole 4hrs trail and then it was 2wd. Unless they updated the plastic used to something like what a trx4 has.
I'm still running the plastic dry shaft on my TF2 headed like that for 5 years now.

What links would fit this rig man theirs a few brands I'm no too sure don't want the drag link to be to big
Truck should first be filled with oil in its suspension before got in use 😉
Asia they had 4drs right hand drive as well

I have been running mine hard for the last month and it loves the abuse, but make sure you oil those shocks and put in a decent battery. Just as note, I have submerged mine 3 times without water proofing the receiver with no issues and I believe the rear shock towers will interfere with a normal bed
one of the other channels just installed bobbed bedsides and a tailgate over the existing utility bed, came out quite nice...
