Simple way to examine both rice is
if we compare both rice in terms of colour
Raw rice is white in colour
While steam rice looks yellowish ..or cream colour
But according to my experience raw rice tastes good as compared to steam rice ..
2nd thing is if steam rice not consumed early ...it becomes dry
For example if you cooked steam rice in morning ...and eat in evening you will feel dryness while eating the rice ..
on the other side if you eat raw rice at evening or even next day...the rice rice will feel soft to eat it will not that dry...
