If you compare the Hummingbird to the guitars of Country Western and Rock and Roll stars that immediately preceded it's debut in 1960, it is actually quite understated and elegant.
im noticing that the guitar of the 60s 70s and 80s had a unique design like the hummingbird and the dove, the color was unique at that time and the pickguard has that design in it making it look beautiful, these days guitars all looke similiar and cheap
The ridiculously beautiful "If I Am a Stranger" by Ryan Adams & the Cardinals followed by the Rolling Stones' "Angie" (they list the songs in the video descriptions, btw).
I love these guitars, what i dont support is the greed or the money grabber behind it.. their knowledge to build this such magnificent guitars is being monetized by those greedy bussinesman.. if only humans loves music and share music without greed.. this guitars should only cost for what is right.. Materials and the builder.. lay off that gibson logo because it is the reason why everything becomes bussiness..
Such an incredible guitar, definitely my favourite acoustic guitar.
People go on about Martins and I do like them but Gibson have made a beautiful, balanced guitar with these, I love the tone of Mahogany, also Maple.

It would sound a lot nicer without that huge pickguard and if the bridge saddle was fitted the right way round.
I've met so many people over the years who think all acoustics sound the same. Compare this badboy to a D28 and I rest my case.

can`t say that Gibsons are bad guitars, but they're just too pricey. In that price range, they're good alternatives. But Gibsons just look amazing.
Beside that´s out of tune, it´s a great sounding guitar...
