The inner negative scale is to be used when adjusting the offset altitude to a negative altitude on the ground.
How do i turn on light for night jumps
7 - Backlight Enable: Press and hold Right Front Button until “ACCESS” flashes two times. Disable: Press and hold Right Front Button until “ACCESS” lights. Note: The backlight is automatically disabled when manually switching OFF the ALTITRACK. Note: If the backlight is turned ON while the ALTITRACK is not in Jump Mode, the backlight will automatically turn OFF after 2 hours. If the backlight is turned ON while the ALTITRACK is in Jump Mode, the backlight will remain ON until the unit exits Jump Mode.

Is working digital is it therefore more reliable in indicating 300,200 and 100 meters than a pure analog? That's help me a lot in the pattern. Again many thanks for answer me!
Hey Michele - With the Altitrack you get a smooth non erratic pointer movement, a bit more reliable than an analog altimeter since the Altitrack has a digital module with a digital pressure sensor.

Hey Michele - Just set up the date and time and next jump number so the logbook can start logging from your last jump.

If you have the height in meters, can it show your speed in mph as well?
You can setup the unit to display information in what ever way you prefer. Jump data are continuously stored in mph and kmh. At any time stored information
may be displayed in either unit of measurement by selecting the respective mode.
Mine stopped working completly after failing 4 times, LB asks for $75 + shipping for repair after warranty. I wouldn't buy this piece of garbage again, sorry. It's NOT sturdy or durable! The plastic cover of the battery actually breaks very easily.
Shock resitant? Mine has never touched the gound and still stopped working completly.
