I cleared this forest with Diamante instead of Sengoku, it definitely works. BUt need to space out your damage a bit on Stage 19 and probably stall on Machvyse which is kind of annoying but it does work.
the team I used was enlil or monet as ac and code sanji as capt and the rest is your choice it works pretty well damage is reduced by half when health is full they damage you and monet heals you back to full and deals damage after turn
I don't mind stalling through animations waiting for my 32 CD sabo special, but little did I know, if you stall long enough, they will bind/despair you again, causing you to die, I cry
So story robin can replace rocinante since she also reduces bind and dispair by 3 turns. Also she is a PSY unit so Trebol will be less difficult to beat - am I right?

Yes, that's clash sabo and sengoku/corazon are replaceable. Corazon can be replaced by a character that removes bind, despair etc and Sengoku can be replaced by any strong PSY character that boosts group's DMG.

Special levels don't matter at all when you use zombie teams on forests, you can stall as much as you want. Might be annoying to stall 30 turns in every room, though :D
If you haven't cleared it yet: Use 6+ Ray as your friend captain, he removes 7 turns of lock and despair, making this forest a piece of cake (that's the replacement for Corazon). Sengoku isn't needed as well, just use any character that has a high damage special (Colo Moria, Duval for an aditional HP cut, something like that)

Yup, you can't use King Punch anyway because he is powerhouse (causing that you have too much HP). When you have Sabo and Dexhawk, you are already good to go. I recommend using 6+ Rayleigh as your Friend Captain, he does the same job as Corazon, but a lot better.

I agree that LL is still the best. Akainu seems OP but if you think about it he's pretty much only practical for a strength team. Also his special lacks synergy with other 50+ cost characters, although I do agree his special is better than log luffy's. There's a lot of people on board the train of AKAINU IS BROKEN but we need to analyze him before we jump to conclusions based on our first impressions.

Enel is impossible to beat with a zombie team because of those lightnings. For Shanks you need a poison remover or anti poison sockets.
Zazume you need sockets because poison kills you instantly
even better version of the same team is timeskip brook as captain!

Not really. Pell is Powerhouse, so his HP won't get reduced. Also, no Captain ability attack multiplier. He's good, but he's not better.
