Say what you will about the prequals; but this lightsaber is easily one of the best gifts it gave us; when i look at it i can see how that is a weapon of a princess (in a good way).

CFX comes with a set of default fonts. Those fonts all have font.bmp files on them, which allow you to display the name of the font on the OLED screen. I have a bunch of fonts, some of which you show in the video. They have do not have font.bmp files. My question is that, in order to get the name of the font, as well as some of the animations you show for those fonts, displayed on the OLED screen for any added fonts, do you have to write your own font.bmp files? (If so, from what I can tell from other videos, that looks like it's a real pain.)

Blade flicker always looks better. And your vader effect does show up on camera. It almost goes fuzzy or like static. Very nice! Ok Rey effect is super cool too! Man I kinda want a proffie saber now lol
You can make a notch on the kill key so that you don't have to remove it to activate it. Just twist it and leave it there, when you're done twist it again and it deactivates. When it comes time to recharge then you remove it

I'm happy to see this review, as this particular lightsaber is what I'm considering for my next saber purchase. "Princess" or not, I just love the look of it and it appears comfortable as well. I'm looking at the version from The Pach Store as it's affordable for me. I do however, want to get into a Neopixel saber soon. Ok, the question. What exactly *_is_* a Proffie Board? Again, I'm looking into investing in something high end as my personal saber, so the more I know the better. Thanks for your time and May the Force be With You! (P.S. - I actually like the look of the Korbanth saber better! I like the darker-looking "copperish" neck and trim sections.)
Proffie is the brand of board used. There are various ones. The most known are Proffie and Crystal Focus. Those are highly customizable. There are some saber maker companies that have their own private boards. One of the most used board used to be Nano Biscote. They were cheap and good but now they are highly outdated because they don't support the smooth swing feature. That's a problem that a lot of the big company face right now. Like Ultrasaber who still hasn't made the switch to Smoothswing and Neopixel.
I know you did a video going through the customizing of the proffieboard and there are plenty of posts and videos explaining it too but just curious to know your challenges and what not, I have yet to plug mine in and get the programs
It's not really hard but it's a learning process for sure. I remember it took me almost an hour just to get the program to connect to the board properly in the right mode over the right com port settings. Then you have to learn how to script the effects correctly or else the upload will not work. Once you get it then the fun part begins. Testing new colors and effects. Adding effects on top of effects and see the result. Tweaking the timing so it match the sound better.
i got mine today, the not korbanth's one. my main button came off after me going thru the fonts and on/off the sabers for a few mins. i have no idea how to put it back in it keeps coming off
Looks like the LGToy version has a deeper emitter. Is that true? That’s the one I went with, and it sounds like that’s the one I’d prefer between them. I might end up buying the KR version, as well, perhaps as a shelf queen. So many great choices! Thanks for the vid.

Gorgeous saber. It's too bad it took 43 years to see it! I'm a sucker for a crystal reveal too! The icing on the cake! I do prefer the Korbanth for the D ring. As for screen accuracy, didn't she have a covertech? It's hard to tell from 10 seconds of screen time. It even has its own tone. It sounds different from any other. They all seem to have subtle variations in tone, giving each and every one their own personality. What!? Death threats? Are you kidding me? You gotta be being fescious. I love this piece! I'd love to get this one for my girl because of the pink accents like the pink activation button. That's a nice touch. It really is an outstanding work of art. That's what 'non fans' just don't get. To them, we're just overaged geeks. But, it really has become an art ! Love it! Now, can you do a review on the Dark Storm? I've been trying to get my hands on one but they're always sold out! That's probably the most unique design I've ever seen!
Did you buy the LGT one from them directly or through Darkwolf? Looking at getting the one through LGT directly as they offer a slightly cheaper, more basic lite version.
Arent these sold out pretty much everywhere? Its like action figures. People just buy them all up so nobody can get them unless they pay scalpers like double the original price. I hate it.

Rey doesn't use her belt to carry her new lightsaber, the hilt is made out of her quarterstaff.

Try putting a bird feeder outside the window were you record. It strangely helps silence them
