    Wonderful job! What is the exact procedure of moisturizing the locs while the yarn is over them? And how do you know that the moisture penetrates all the way to the locs? --- Thank you for sharing your wisdom. **Hug**

    Hi! If i offend you in anyway please let me know but i had a few question, Idk if you will be able to answer them or not but i loved the tutorial and would like to give it a try with a few small tweaks to it. First im white lmao, so i actually just have synth DE's in. I love these bc My hair growth is stunted due to health issues and grows at an extremely slow rate, So its the only way i can have long hair atm. I wash may hair probably once every month to month and a half, I generally just remove my Synths when i wash to prevent too much damage to them, I pretty much just keep those clean with dry shampoo. Could i do something like this around the dreads themselves then install them? If not Could i start at the base in order to change the entire dreads color, And lastly do you think i could do the whole added on part at the end of my synths, Im wanting to feel extra girly and im thinking about adding a few more inches

    • @naturalbeauty0214
      @naturalbeauty0214  7 років тому +3

      NP! No, I wouldn't bother retwisting. As long as the parts are defined and wrapped at the roots you cant tell.

  • @meccaamor8499
    @meccaamor8499 5 років тому +1

    Will it create lint and all that? And how do u remove it

    • @naturalbeauty0214
      @naturalbeauty0214  5 років тому +2

      No lint! Cut end with scissors and pull. It will unravel. The braided part, take a rat tailed comb to loosen yarn from locs.

    Would you suggest yarn wraps over two strand twist starter locs?

    • @naturalbeauty0214
      @naturalbeauty0214  7 років тому

      Changing Morgan how long have you been locked?

    • @dehgyal
      @dehgyal 7 років тому

      NaturalBeauty0214 I am interested in doing it for myself and my daughter. I have been locd for 7 months now. I have mini two strand twists but they have not locd. My daughter just got her twists installed in June so about a month. I was thinking about doing it for back to school in August. I see on the Tube that it is discouraged because of locs not locing but am in no rush for it to loc..been there done that. lol

    • @naturalbeauty0214
      @naturalbeauty0214  7 років тому +1

      I did them around that stage too. If you're not concerned with it slowing down your locking process, I think its ok. Just be really careful on the take down. You don't want to comb any out. Oh and don't keep them in long, because your hair will get extremely dry while in yarn. Moisture daily. I hope this helps

    • @dehgyal
      @dehgyal 7 років тому

    • @naturalbeauty0214
      @naturalbeauty0214  7 років тому +3

      oh wow! I haven't experienced my locs coming out. I've done yarn locs when I was a loose natural and when I had starter locs. I think its important to keep them moisturized and not to wrap them extremely tight. But other than that, they are like any other weave or extensions.
