Seriously, why couldn't this have been the theme song for Super Megaforce. I suddenly feel ripped off that they just rehashed Samurai's theme so cheaply. Would be nice to have a cleaner high quality version of this someday, but this'll do until then.

Because the theme song used was a homage to Mighty Morphin. It's only like that because Megaforce was meant to be an anniversary season for Power Rangers. I understand you commented this 8 years ago but there are replies that are much more recent so I'll say it anyways.

You know, I gave this season trouble when it first came out, but looking back now, Samurai and Megaforce really weren't that bad. Sure, they were that bad, but they weren't that that THAT bad. At their core, they're still -Super Sentai- Power Rangers. The premise and ideas were by no means bad, the only real problem was the execution and a lot of decisions made by the writing staff. The foundations were there, they just........weren't fleshed out as well as they should've been.
And the acting. Samurai was just bland with the writing probably being the reason but Megaforce is where it really becomes a problem. You don't get these performances without also having bad actors. It's Phantom Menace with colourful costumes.
@@lorddrayvon1426 According to Linkara (The guy who made "History of Power Rangers"), Samurai and Megaforce were supposed to originally have a lot more effort and quality put into them (especially writing and acting), but Saban messed up and left some knucklehead producer in charge of both seasons while he was focusing on other things. And when Saban finally found out, he fired the dude. But by that point, the damage had already been done. Which is a shame. The Gokaiger footage deserved far better than that.
@@SabeNo-rh7mb he's not wrong. Jonathan Tzachor, the "knucklehead producer" was executive producer for Power Rangers from Zeo to Wild Force when he was succeeded by Douglas Sloan. He apparent!y had a deep love of the Sentai which is apparently why Megaforce is American Shinkenger.
@@lorddrayvon1426 Back up. He's the one who made everything from Zeo all the way to Wild Force? Then how did he fuck up Samurai and Megaforce so bad? In Space-Time Force is regarded by a lot of people as the absolute best part of the whole franchise. How could the same guy who essentially made the series' golden age bomb the new stuff so badly?
@@SabeNo-rh7mb During Zeo to Wild Force, Tzachor had co-producers Chip Lynn and Jackie Marchand (writer Amit Bhaumik in Wild Force) to help him determine what aspects are good or not to be inserted into the show, which makes those series regarded as the best ones in the franchise due to creativity it had.
When he was chosen to ran Samurai and Megaforce, the other two doesn't come back with him to co-produce (or even write). Not to mention, those two series writers' brilliant ideas were shot down by Tzachor to the point that even the cast of Megaforce dislike their own season.

They're not reusing Samurai's....it's a completely different song. It just has the "Go Go Power Rangers" part in it.....

There both bad in their own right, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one since megaforce had some thought to it (and I meaning SOME), but super on the other hand was just bad with the acting being worst, super sentai team in power rangers, and the writing being worst.

I know,what's there excuse going to be this time for reusing it (samurai)because it's a celebration of saban owning the franchise again (super samurai) because it's a continuation of samurai (because it's a 20 year anniversary (super megaforce) because it's the again a continuation (dino charge) maybe saban will say because there are dinosaurs just like the first was so therefore we have to reuse the theme again,My God can we just get a new theme already
