This keeps them kicking, but the balloon colors and movement keep them entertained. Be sure to stay close so they don't try to roll and get tangled on the strings 😊. At risk of strangulation if caught on the strings
Also stick close by because when balloons start to lose their helium they tend to gravitate to peoples faces. Numerous babies and children have suffocated in their sleep from a balloon left in their room.
It also stimulates their brain and coordination! A study was done with a mobile tied to their leg or arm. It showed a lot of brain growth in movements and muscle control! Besides that it keeps them entertained
@ no? That’s totally something a dad would do. It’s a funny ‘stupid’ idea that helped entertain the baby with low effort, the same way my dad tapes cat toys to the wall so my cat leaves him alone. Just because a person applied gender to something doesn’t make it sexist.
Omg those little legs & arms moving is so freaking adorable I could cry 🥰 so innocent & pure. As a mother of one (8year old) I have baby fever. But I’m almost 40 & afraid to have another baby. Worse pain in the world. Scared to death
One day my mom came home with a helium filled red heart ballon for my colicky 2 months old baby; the first time in 2 months I could rest without rocking or carrying him around- thank you mom ❤️
@@cookie4255this comment is probably on the balloon choking hazard part... no need for special balloons of you are there. A balloon also doesn't just pop.
@SL-gz3dy Actually still a hazard if they r watching them. Majority of times, latex balloons may pop during or after use, and all the pieces may not be completely found and picked up. So best not to use them in this scenario and around kids And if used, should be popped outside and all pieces picked and disposed
There is also the issue of the streamers. Which the baby can easily become entangled; with; I don’t mean to be a kill joy, I am just saying to keep an eye on the babies, to avoid tragedy. A happy joyous situation can quickly turn into something not so joyous..
1st off they are literally right there filming the baby and 2nd those are mylar balloons. Huge difference. They don't pop into tiny pieces like latex. Down side they are about $6/ea
It's definitely cheaper than one of those mobile things above the crib and seems more effective since the baby is actually moving and tiring itself out, not just laying there staring at the stars moving in a circle
Actually, it's not about working out, but the baby figuring out reality. The baby realizes that when they move, so do the balloons. Yes, we actually have to LEARN we are real 😂
All fun and games til the baby floats out the window 😔✨✨✨ This is how I lost my baby cousin, never saw him again. 😭😭😭 Some say you can still spot him bobbing past the airplane windows once in a blue moon.
Once it looses its helium make sure to get rid of the balloon, as a grieving mother, I’ve been told many many stories from other grieving parents including suffocation from Mylar balloons in children over 5 years old as well as infants and toddlers. But seeing it like this, and well supervised I don’t see anything wrong and great motor skills and exercise for baby!!
When should you start doing this? Like, how many weeks? I wanna be able to do this for my baby niece when she gets here, I'm sure her parents will get a kick out of it and I wanna help my Lil nugget.
I assume once their able to kick and move as the baby here looks quite young probably when you beginning doing other interactive things just remember to supervise as freak accidents happen all the time
Does anyone think about helium being a non renewable resource? A new pocket was found a couple years ago but right before that we were running out. MRIs need helium and a lot of other things that we need way more than entertainment. Babies are perfectly capable of getting exercise without helium tied to strings they can strangle themselves with!
When you people do this life hack, remember to keep your eye on the baby. Dont want any freak accidents because baby thought balloon pilates was the perfect time to reach a new milestone. 😂
Mylar balloons also last a long time! You can obviously refill them if they go completely flat, but you can also just take a straw, put it into the fill hole, and blow. It'll inflate the balloon to full, and because there's still enough helium inside it won't sink like you'd expect. I once had a mylar balloon floating for months using this technique because it was big and had that extra helium.
My sister gave my 6months old baby a latex balloon. She got red rashes and she scratches faces, neck, heads and ear. I immediately shower her. I put some rashes & itch cream. Was that an allergy?
They are both choking hazards my son ripped open a nerds bag which is the same texture as those types of balloons and he chocked on it smh scariest thing ever !
This keeps them kicking, but the balloon colors and movement keep them entertained.
Be sure to stay close so they don't try to roll and get tangled on the strings 😊. At risk of strangulation if caught on the strings
Ain't NO BODY but a DAD did this to buy himself some free tine!😊😅😂
Also stick close by because when balloons start to lose their helium they tend to gravitate to peoples faces. Numerous babies and children have suffocated in their sleep from a balloon left in their room.
So I’m hearing keep scissors (with heart/teardrop end) near by if trying this out
use paper strings

😂 that baby is having a blast while workin out like that.😂❤
Those little arms and legs 😭😭💕💕💕
I just know a dad came up with this hilariously innovative idea 😂😂😂 too cute 🥰
😂 We did this with our daughter, and it was her grandpa (my dad) who did it. For six months that man made sure she had fresh mylar balloons.
This definitely isn’t a new idea, my family has been doing this for years! It’s basically tradition at this point
Because dads are the only ones that can be fun?
@ no? That’s totally something a dad would do. It’s a funny ‘stupid’ idea that helped entertain the baby with low effort, the same way my dad tapes cat toys to the wall so my cat leaves him alone. Just because a person applied gender to something doesn’t make it sexist.
@@Nicka-lw2py it usually is the dads that think outside the box for fun ideas. No one said only men can, but you don't need to be bitter about it
The foil ones are dangerous too, but as long as baby is observed and every piece of the balloon is collected if it every pops.
Never ever unsupervised. Pets too! ❤
The strings are strangling hazards. They could easily get tied up
@@BlkMedusa I wouldn’t worry too much 😂😂
@@BlkMedusa Unless the baby is rolling around, it’s highly unlikely anything but their legs will get tangled

He LOVED balloon time. 😭 I can’t believe this video is almost a year old now.
Best visually, intellectually stimulating baby mobile I have ever seen!! Brilliant!!
this looks so cute 🥰 babies always love being able to affect stuff with their movement so i bet this would give them a lot of entertainment
This is fine as long as you are watching your child… doesn’t matter the type of ballon, don’t be on your phone and don’t leave the room.
not realistic for a mother who is doing housework all around the house.
@@moonliightbaeyou don't put balloons on a string and bind it to your child if you don't have time to be in the same room...

Good ideal. I’m doing this with my grandson the next time I baby sit. I can’t wait
Still single though, but when I get married, will do this too when I ve my baby
Just make sure to watch out for the strings and such
Mama of the baby in video here, its perfect if they can’t roll over yet. Our balloon time was short lived. 😭
We did this with my son, he's now obsessed with balloons lol. We are having a balloon party for his birthday.
Mum: hey baby!
Baby : sorry mum, can't you see am busy? 🤣🤣🤣
Wow, this is about the most creative fun thing for a baby I've ever seen. lol😂❤so cute
The strings are also a hazard ⚠️
Good point!
Yes, that was exactly what i thought. They could strangle the child or bruise or restrict blood flow.
This is mentioned in the pinned comment, but you shouldn't leave the baby unattended anyway sooo
She is exercising and entertaining herself all at once. Well done little one!
What a great idea. Truly it is. Where was this when my kids were babies. Genius

We put jingle bells on the toddler's ankles. He ran around the house jingling and laughing, it was so cute 😍
Im gonna have to do that 😂❤️

Key 🔑: adult supervision 😅
Did it with both types of balloons with my baby and she enjoyed regular balloons more surprisingly.

careful even human hair tied around a babys toe can cut off circulation to the point where it turns purple

Why

Add tiny bells to the balloons so when you stop hearing bells it means the baby has managed to wrap one of the string around its neck
Mylar baloons are also refillable/reusable! they last forever we have some in from 20+ years ago that we still use!
Omg I want a baby now this looks like so much fun
