Martin Baird and Ian Harris was the manager during my time there before I moved on to electric avenue then on Woolpack to end my door supervisor days. My brother Les Hemstock went on to better things as you know over in Norway as a DJ where the jive bunny roots started.

So many happy nights spent in Seventh Heaven / Karisma with many old friends and lots of one night 'romances' !!!!. Its was the dogs nads back then. Not so keen on the so called guests though. Steve Hurley - "Love can't turn around" was the best for me from memeory back then. Great little production you've put together. Really enjoyed it.
Hi Tony,nice to hear from you,and of course i remember Rotters but always ran 2nd best to 7th Heaven.I was head doorman their for a while after it changed names from Rotters, but was glad to get back to 7th Heaven to work In the New Year ill be trying to put together another show on 7th Heaven,Rotter,Outlook,Billy Paul's from back then,but i need the good old 7th Heaven staff and visitors of the clubs to pass on photos or film footage from back then. There as to be folk out there who have had photos taken with members of the staff or celebrities that have appeared at the club.Glad everyone who as looked at my show have enjoyed.Nice not to forget.

Wow talk about flood of memories from working there...Always remember end of night having a few drinks and Alan and I would take on anyone playing that video game with track and field olympian games....thanks for the memories. unfortunately i left there to move to Rotter's lol, yeah as the DJ with Chris and Gary when Nigel was head doorman and Eddie was the manager....Be safe Kev as i now live in the USA
Hep,they were the days.I still see Claude and the gang.There must be lots of captured memories(photos) out their,taken with door staff ,barmaids or between visitors at that time.Would love to see them.Have you seen the All Dayer at 7th U Tube slide show?,I worked the front door,great atmosphere.
Seventh Heaven was more mainstream than Mainline and Scene Two Rotters, we were part of the alternative scene 79 to 84 (spent most of our time in Mainline and Rotters Scene Two) and one of our group, Garry Woods, became the DJ in Clouds (centre of shot 7:54 although not in focus)
Fabulous memories.......well done. Hilary (Deputy Manager) shared a house with me when she first came up from London and my old mucker Marion worked in the cash office - they were very happy times :)
i know marion and she used to call me to say someone has handed in an royal air force id card....happend a few times when us finningley lads n lasses were drunk. the best times and night club i have ever been to

Don't really have any plans of visiting the UK again ... can't believe the prices over there now. Beer here is less than 50p! If any of guys fancy a get together over here though, that'd be great! :-) I remember having some great nights in Seventh Heaven and Xanadu. my dad built this place in the 80s and he came back home to bristol with mugs with seventh heaven written on them in purple.. i still have the mugs
