Phil Collins will go down as one of the greatest writers of ballads in rock history. The man just knew how to write a captivating melody and powerful lyrics. Thank you for doing such a worthy rendition of one his most memorable songs of the 80s. Great covers always transport you back in time to when you were first confronted by the magic of hearing the song for the first time. You definitely did that with your cover.

I realize that most, if not all, of these videos by Boyce Avenue are not really live, but are, in fact, simulations of live performances. Having said that, they are phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. I have never heard one of these Boyce Avenue videos - and I’ve watched many - that were anything less than first rate. Just superb.
Boyce Avenue has been my favorite artists of my mine for many years. I have been playing this song for like a thousand times since my father's passing recently, Brings me to tears everytime especially at this line as though I was saying this to my dad. I recently lost him and I miss him soooo much!

You still think about that person you met years ago. This is one of those songs that i will always prefer listening to the original singer (the awesome Phil Collins) cause i have not met anyone that can give the goosebumps & emotional feeling when Phil sings it, but, this one here, is almost near that "feel", not the best to me but very , very close.... awesome voice.
