The comments saying it’s fake because it doesn’t fly on its own…it’s a decorative balloon, of course it doesn’t really fly. Is this your first time seeing any video anywhere? 🙄 To the creator, amazing creativity; thank you for sharing!
A couple notes as a crafter. There are no measurements because they can vary depending on the size of your balloon. Looks like she eyeballs everything in this video. Take a screenshot of her holding that burlap to show your sales associate. It's not your garden variety. The weave is closer together making it ideal for sewing projects. You should be able to pick up a yard at your local fabric store. Some of them even have prints on them! One yard should be more than enough to make several balloons. Most of her wires and strings came from the floral section of the craft store. It's called twine. My craft store even sells wired twine. Eliminating the most tedious step of this video. The box you should be able to pick up anywhere that sells gift boxes. The string for the balloon should be found in the yarn and embroidery section. You might even be able to get away with a cotton yarn for crocheting but I'm guessing she chose this because it's more lightweight. A multi colored spool against the burlap would be pretty neat. As someone who has done something similar, you need to let the string dry on the balloon for 24 hrs. It needs to be completely dry before you pop it. Poking a tiny hole right next to where the balloon ties will release the air more slowly. Certain glues *cough cough mod podge!* are sensitive to temperature changes. Meaning you're balloon may warp over time depending on your environment. There's not much to be done for this other than skipping the string and just going full paper mache. But that would change the look of the balloon significantly. At least with paper mache you can add wire in between layers as a "skeletal structure." if you're a proficient crafter this project should take you about 2 days. To all the craft store retail workers like myself, you're welcome 😉
THANK YOU! I was going to post similar info as you lol! The only thing I had questioned, as well, was how to get the string to keep it's form when you deflate the balloon (didn't consider this until I had read other comments). Your suggestion is wonderful! Now, I was thinking of using just regular Elmer's white glue. Does that have the same warping effect that Mod Podge can have? If so, are there any glue-types out there that wouldn't warp? I am a fairly new crafter and have had my eye on this project for a while now. I am working on Holiday items at the moment but I have the materials to create this now and would like to give it a shot. I just am curious about the glue....
Is that regular sewing thread? What thickness did u used? Also when u did the touch up before actually popping the baloon it was a bit unclear what u were doing, can u clarify? Other than that great job and thank u for the video
I could imagine that you could, because the string would allow for that, you would need a heart-shaped ballon and then to adapt the rest of it from there :)
The way she put the string around the balloon and Popped it it it was very satisfying

We try it but after bursting the balloon it does not shape like your

What if you make a little hole, put another balloon inside, blow the balloon, then empty it and remove it..?
Great keep going 😍😍👌🏼
There needs to be more information. Measurements, length's of wire etc.
Very nice 🐎🐎

I can't make the balloon being like yours can you share how to make it?
Im gunna turn this into my lamp shade for shore 😁
How does the balloon come back to normal shape after puncturing of balloon.?
Would not the obvious thing to restore the balloon shape be to just to inflate another balloon inside the crumbled one.

Which thread you use thin or thick
just normal sewing thread
Is that regular sewing thread? What thickness did u used? Also when u did the touch up before actually popping the baloon it was a bit unclear what u were doing, can u clarify? Other than that great job and thank u for the video

Does this fly??
You could probably edit this and make it into a paper lantern - then that will fly
Please make video on remote control hot ballon
Can't we make the upper one in heart shape give me reply as possible as please
I could imagine that you could, because the string would allow for that, you would need a heart-shaped ballon and then to adapt the rest of it from there :)
Please help. I tried to make it 3 times and the thread never returns to shape after removing the balloon. Why does this happen? I let it dry overnight
Did she respond?
What if you make a little hole, put another balloon inside, blow the balloon, then empty it and remove it..?
