I switched to vinegar a few years ago when finances were tight and i haven't ever looked back - it's better for the environment also ☺ Thanks for sharing - I enjoy your channel!

Just found and subscribed to your channel. I am a seasoned homemaker, wife and grandmother, but I always appreciate learning new tips and ideas and being part of a traditional homemaking group. The 40's and 50's are my favorite!! A little before my time. . .lol but not much! Thanks for your channel and your inspiration!

P.s vinegar is also the best oven & hob cleaner. Spray with heat vinegar, if it’s burnt on let it sit, and then just wipe off. It does make your house smell of vinegar for a bit!

I make my own cleaner 😊
    2/3 cups distilled water.
    1/3 cup white vinegar.
    8 drops Lemongrass essential oil
Place in a glass jar and shake well 👍

I use 3/4 white vinegar 1/4 water with a few drops on lavender essential oil to combat any mould or bird poo. I’ve filled an old spray bottle and it lasts for ages (forget mucking about with buckets!). Buff the window/mirror after squeegeeing with a micro fibre cloth to get rid of all smears. Traditional buffing used to be newspaper.
Another bonus of just vinegar is it’s environmentally better and if anyone accidentally ingests it you know it won’t kill them.
