Aleia Hobbs of the USA won Heat 2 of the Women's 100m at the Adidas Atlanta City Games, clocking 11.17 seconds to qualify for the final. Tamara Clark, also from the USA, finished second in 11.27 seconds, securing her spot in the final. Kennedy Blackmon placed third with a time of 11.30 seconds, followed closely by Anavia Battle at 11.31 seconds.
