Always thought the dream triple bill would have neen Pretenders, Divinyls and Blondie .. cant believe no promoter ever imagined that ... anyhow great to see Pretenders recognising the Divinyls great song and doing a great cover of it.
I only just found out this classic WASN'T a Pretenders/ Hynde original! It's always been one of my favourites of theirs, up there with Brass & Talk of the Town.

Here in Scotland the main TV channel was named "Scottish TV" now rebranded simply as "Scottish" To English ears, it sounds as if Scottish people were saying "Scottish Tee- Vee" So I just named my channel after my local TV station, they way people here would say it's name. I hope you understand my explanation. Oh and thank you for watching and commenting on my videos.
Believe it or not I came across some CDs and didn’t know it was the pretenders…. Once I heard Chrissy’s voice knew it had to be the pretenders…. Never heard this song until tonight…. Awesome song and she still looks and sounds amazing even to this day…. I’m in my early 50s and would date her in a heartbeat….❤❤❤❤❤ Ps I just heard the original version and couldn’t even get past the first chorus. Chrissy and the pretenders actually did a much better job also. 😊
