Mike: kudos for the Ebbersman song, and the wonderful tight harmonies. Whole team: great show. Ebbers and Kush: you each made food out of three random tins of stuff, and it all looked and sounded good to eat. Hat’s off.
I love the song its awesome and totally in character for ebbers to be so engrossed with the mostsustainable way of fishing and convincing the entire team to ROW a boat far enough out to see to not only get caught up in a storm but be deposited on a deserted island.
entertaining as always, but I gotta say, kush spreading his ingredients over three dishes kinda takes the challenge out of it! Its easy to cook a bambo shoots dish, a razor claim dish, and a bread dish, but the challenge is making them al together!
The challenge is to use all the ingredients and “chef” them up. Never said they specifically have to use them all in the same dish. Long as he’s using them all and being creative he’s following the prompt… Plus if they all taste great…and are upgraded. Again…done the task… Unless the rules are redefined…he’s doing what’s asked…

For razor clams, bamboo shoots, and canned bread, if I could have obtained some parmesan, I would have made panko fried razor clams (with the bread turned into the crumb) and braised bamboo shoots with a soy sauce. I'd make it into a pseudo-pâté spread to go on the bread. Drain the tomato sauce from the tin straight into a pan and reduce it down to a sweet and umami sauce.
