I commend anyone who makes the trip to the parks during the busy times of the year. The cast members dealing with this level of craziness are true heroes too. This video showed that you can still have a lovely day even if its super busy
I hear you, but sometimes school breaks or summertime are the only available times to visit for many people (former teacher here, hello) so this is what we have to maneuver around. Once I left for higher ed, when I had more freedom, it was like the world opened up to me, lol. But these tips are so valuable for the majority of people that need to work around complex scheduling that land you in a theme park, on a cruise ship, or at a beach during the most crowded times of year.
MOLLY THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE WITH TIKI BIRDS! I just went with family to MK with no prior knowledge of anything and then stumbled on in to Enchanted Tiki Room and was completely mesmerized and transfixed and then went to your channel afterwards and learned the history and now am forever a Disney and Mam fan/fam! thank you and Happy Holidays and 2024!!!
BEST advice!! You will NOT get to see and do everything in one trip! I tell my clients this ALL the time. Some listen, some get overwhelmed, some immediately book another trip LOL
We adopted the attitude of having fun and not worrying about what we didn’t get to do a while back. It really improves the experience and the memories.
I love being reminded to just set your expectations according to the crowd level...we are coming during spring break because that's what fits our schedule....but I will remember to pick our top priorities and enjoy just being there for the rest of the day. Thanks Molly! Always great advice!! Always great to remember to enjoy the day!!!
Molly...Alan...I just want to say I love you guys. I am a 33 year old die hard harry potter fan, veterinarian and mom living in Iowa that has been to Universal once and Disney twice. I don't get to travel often but LOVE the moments I have had in Orlando. I just want to say that I use your channel as an outlet. I absolutely love it and it momentarily lets me pretend that I am lost in the magic of the parks along side you. It brightens my day. Thank you for so much and such great and diverse content. You both absolutely rock
Happy Holidays to Mr. Eel and the missus! and this was lovely. I would love to go to Disney by myself and just do whatever the heck took my fancy. Live your dreams, Molly.
I did that last summer - it was my single mom 50th bday gift to myself - and it was superb. Next time I’ll luxuriate even more because I went full nerd and did all the big attractions, saw all Molly’s Easter eggs, that my kids scoff at when I’ve taken them. 😂 you should totally do it!
The "middle of the day break" tip is a really good one, we used it a lot on our last trip. Only problem was one day where we had a Steakhouse 71 reservation for lunch, and our Tron boarding group got called right before it!
I love the Dinoland Crocodile! I’ve made a point to visit her every time I’m at DAK since my College Program. She’s my Mr. Eel :) Also, so many people walk by and think she’s an animatronic.
This is the only time of the year I'm blocked out of the parks. I was kind of bummed at first, but watching this video makes me feel a lot better about it😊 PLUS there's always Universal Studios...
I'm taking my dad for the first time next year and can't wait for his "what is happening" reactions to Country Bears Jamboree and Journey into the Imagination with Figment 🤣🤣
And thats why we scheduled ourselves to visit in mid-January. Not needing to experience all the holiday overlay stuff, we were able to aim for an arguably slower time.
My boyfriend went on Country Bears and didn't know anything about it. He loved it but thought it was very random and weird. I get it, but it was one of his favorite things at Magic Kingdom.
I used to watch the Country Bear Jamboree all the time when I was a kid but it was at Disneyland, I didn't make it to WDW until I was an adult and I haven't been on the CBJ at WDW but your video unlocked massive amounts of nostalgia for me!! I'm actually excited to see it after it's been refurbished!
Thanks for the video! I know you’ve done a lot of genie videos or park days without genie, but I love them every time! I love seeing how it varies across different months and days of the week, so I’d love more of those videos!
Wow! I enjoyed watching the short clips of the Country Bears. It brought back so many memories for me. I went to Disneyland in California when I was a small child and my dad took home (silent) /8mm movies of this attraction. I’m so glad we have them to view.
Appreciate the honesty about the crowds for holidays. I just wanted to add that it can spill over into after New Year. I went 1/4/2022 and it was pretty crowded plus marathons! But still had a great time, thanks to extensive planning and Molly's advice.
Hey mam fam! Thank you for the content during the holidays! I am interested in seeing more sit down content as well. I would love to see a video on Disney park conspiracies!
We have debated whether or not to go during the Christmas holidays for a couple of years. The crowds are mostly what is stopping us. Thank you for always being honest on what to expect. I'm so glad to see Mr. Eel is doing well and enjoying the holidays lol
I've been during the holidays and loved it! I suggest just going with the intention of seeing the decorations and costumes, and plan on not hitting more than one or two big rides per day. Enjoy the shows, the food, the atmosphere. You can ride rides any time of year, but the holiday decorations are only there for the season!
@CritterKeeper01 we can only go right now once a year, so trying to do as much as we can is important. Maybe one day we can go more and do what you suggest. I would however go earlier in December because the crowds look crazy lol.
Would love to see Mammoth Club try the parkology challenge in 2024! I’d also love to see y’all go to Dollywood/do a Dollywood tip video! I loved the Japan series, it would be cool to also see the other international Disney parks or Efteling, Europa, or Alton Towers in the uk!
We went once at Christmas. Pure beautiful madness. Would do it again but have a different set of goals for sure. It's a bit expensive to just go for the vibe since we don't live close. It's definitely magical at Christmas but some guests are not. 🎉🎶🌻🌞🎄⛄Thanks for taking us along, Molly.
Your horror movie doll gave me a good laugh! If I lived in Fl and had an annual pass, I would love to go at Christmas and just soak in the atmosphere. Coming from out of state on a rare visit, I would avoid the parks like the plague during Christmas.
My son is an AK CM, and I visited him just after Thanksgiving. The night that we went back to "his" park, he led us over to the lights in Asia without any warning. It was so pretty, I cried! Which he knew I would do, which is why he took us there. :D
Holly jolly wishes and cheers to Molly for gifting us with her great tips to navigate, incorporate fun shows, festive lighting character greets with the rides at all the Disney Parks!! 🎄🥰 🎉 🥂Another fun thing my family likes to do when parks are full at Christmas is to get on a monorail and check out the amazing gingerbread houses at the deluxe resorts and you can get yummy holiday treats there too!! ✨️🥮🚄🍥✨️
Every day of every month is the most crowded time of the year at Disney these days. There are no slow or slower times. We loved Disney and used to go every year but it's just not fun anymore, just too crowded.
My best advice: do not stress about missing out in 7 dwarfs mine train during the holidays. It’s really not worth a 2 hour wait at all, I promise you can have an awesome day without it.
You are right! Last visit, august 2022, we rope drop tomorrow land, and by 11, we were done with all the e ticket attractions. 7 dwarfs was only 45 minutes at the time and we were in fantasy land… I said, let’s go, 45 isn’t that bad, and we are done with the big ones. My kids had fun in the interactive queue, but 45 is really the max I would wait for that one. On our second day in MK, we rope drop 7 dwarfs… never again. We were done super quickly, but the crowd was crazy to get in line. People were pushing, strollers were trying to get in front to get to the stroller parking quickly… nope, I will continue to rope drop tomorrow land and forget 7 dwarfs if the wait time is to long
I travel to Disney every year during Christmas. I will say it felt slower this year (still crowded but I didn't use Genie as much as I thought I would). It could have been the weather though... I heard a lot of people talking about staying in their hotels for Christmas day.
Thank you for sharing; it was my first time ever going for Christmas this year, and I was surprised that it wasn't that busy! It really had me wondering- were people exaggerating a bit about how busy it is at Christmas, or is this just a particularly slow year? I still was able to mobile order Casey's & got my food in 5 minutes, right before the fireworks 🎆
I would love to see you invite a friend to navigate a day at a Disney Park, no prior knowledge. And Molly, no coaching. That would be hard for you I'm sure, but I bet it would be very entertaining for all and Molly, you can reflect at the end of the day. Love you guys, Have a great New Year!!
When I went to WDW one time we were stopped for a long time in the Bruce scene with Nemo’s dad and eventually your eyes adjust to the darkness and you can just see Nemo’s dad resetting himself over and over and over again. Than we got stuck again and this time it was in the EAC scene and eventually I had to look away because we were moving so slow compared to the bubbles and it was making me sick. Good times… gooooood times
Happy New Year and thanks for helping my plan my last trip to Disney World. I love all your suggestions and will use them for my next trip around Thanksgiving. Keep up the good work!
We almost went the week before Christmas but decided not to this year. Good thing since we all ended up with the flu that week! When Molly started talking about what to ride at Animal Kingdom, I knew it would be Dinosaur!
Yeah I was in that 135 minute line for flight of passage when you were there 😅😅 I'd never been on it before and just watched Christmas movies in line instead
One time our car stalled during Dinosaur right BEFORE the second Carnotaurus 😨 and then suddenly when the lights turned on the Carnotaurus roared and they took our picture. The MOST terrifying ride of Dinosaur I have ever been on. 😅
Going there in a couple days for the true madness that is NYE @Disney. All the research in the world may not help us with those levels of crowds but the suggestion of a "Top 5 attractions" will be our golden rule going in so hopefully that helps.
Another good Magic Kingdom filler is the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse [near Skipper Canteen]. The Columbia Harbour House lobster roll eaten in the quiet spacious upstairs dining room is a good choice to escape the push of the crowds.
Nope. Especially as someone who has to travel to get to WDW, and therefore can’t just drop in another time, I refuse to go to Disney when it’s busy. My time is a premium when I’m there.
The confusion of someone not understanding the nostalgia of a ride- literally me riding It’s a Small world for the first time 😂. My family couldn’t afford to go to Disney when I was growing up, so I rode It’s a Small World for the first time in my 30’s with my own kids. Those dolls are CREEPY!!
I commend anyone who makes the trip to the parks during the busy times of the year. The cast members dealing with this level of craziness are true heroes too. This video showed that you can still have a lovely day even if its super busy
I recommend anyone going this time of year consider consulting a mental health professional. Yikes.
I hear you, but sometimes school breaks or summertime are the only available times to visit for many people (former teacher here, hello) so this is what we have to maneuver around. I love Molly's philosophy on how to visit during busy times. It's a good reminder to make sure we actually enjoy our trips.
Thank you for always reminding viewers to be patient and kind to cast members!
I saw Molly filming this and said Hi! We are from California and we’re celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday this day! It made my trip!
MOLLY THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE WITH TIKI BIRDS! MOLLY IS THE BEST DISNEY CONTENT CREATOR RVER
I agree! She makes me excited to go back to Disney!
I agree as well. Love the Mam club videos.
We adopted the attitude of having fun and not worrying about what we didn’t get to do a while back. It really improves the experience and the memories.
This is the way 🩷
We missed you Mr. Eel!!
Mr. Eel!!! Missed that little guy!
I loved the "conversation" with the eel 😁
Would love to see some sort of merch with Mr Eel

We will be there at the same time. We went during spring break two years ago, and it really was not that bad, crowd wise!
What week is spring break? My family and I will be there on 04/12 (Friday) hopefully it's not too bad.
Mr. EEL 🎉 It was soooo nice to see him. He is always so kind. Is he from the southern states?! 😂
He’s a world traveler with an accent that’s quite hard to pin down to one place 😂
Molly, you have the best presence on the net. Love your sense of humor and how you are with these parks. Nice to see Mr. Eel again as well.
Goood morning Mam Fam ! No better way than to start your day with some Molly in my favorite place !!
Extra loud shout-out to CMs right now (and PSA - don’t be a jerk)! Kindness for all ❤
Molly: Please. More solo videos. You shine by yourself. Happy New Year to all!
I agree - I love her solo energy!
I love her and Allen's energy too though. they're fun to watch together.
I miss you being in the parks by yourself, Molly. Hoping there will be more of these ❤
The cast members at the Disney parks are awesome, always helpful. Love Disney ❤

Thank you for sharing a bit of Grayson's playing. He is an amazing young man who I've known since he was 12.
He’s so talented!

I hear it all the time! Just last week a whole group of people didn't believe us.
This is the only time of the year I'm blocked out of the parks. I was kind of bummed at first, but watching this video makes me feel a lot better about it😊 PLUS there's always Universal Studios...
and The Grinch is te best character experience anywhere!
Actually it wasn't bad at all. Very disappointed that this supposedly independent channel is just like other vloggers.
Mr. Eel is back!! ❤
I'm taking my dad for the first time next year and can't wait for his "what is happening" reactions to Country Bears Jamboree and Journey into the Imagination with Figment 🤣🤣
Haha! I love that you time it to match when Mr Eel opens his mouth so it really does look like he’s talking LOL
And thats why we scheduled ourselves to visit in mid-January. Not needing to experience all the holiday overlay stuff, we were able to aim for an arguably slower time.
I don’t like crowded places. Much prefer a low crowded environment. Definitely going in mid January
I usually go during Thanksgiving going this time in January the week of the 8th in just 12 days
I love the country bears so much! The first time I saw it I was surprised and delighted! 🎉❤ it became an instant must do every time we go.
Nothing like a mam vid to start the day off 🙃
You are braver than I! Thanks for venturing out to WDW during the holidays. 🎄
My boyfriend went on Country Bears and didn't know anything about it. He loved it but thought it was very random and weird. I get it, but it was one of his favorite things at Magic Kingdom.

Molly won't touch negative. Disney may be burning down but she'll be Scarlet wondering why she's the only one dancing. I DO love her.
We were there last year this time and while it is crazy, genie+ and extended evening hours were our best friends and made it a great trip!

I loved the Country Bears (in Disneyland) as a kid, but my teen kids were horrified seeing them for the first time this summer. Lol.

I love what I got for Christmas videos! Helps inspire gift ideas for future. I needed to hear what you said about how you can’t go back etc 💛
“Just me and French fires and the Tree of Life” is now an Animal Kingdom goal I didn’t know I needed. 😊
My best advice: do not stress about missing out in 7 dwarfs mine train during the holidays. It’s really not worth a 2 hour wait at all, I promise you can have an awesome day without it.
