- ‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield says most recently, people have had “disdain” for Oprah.
“Because you look at that Meghan Markle interview that you mentioned earlier and Oprah looks like an opportunist,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“There was no pushback, there was no follow-up.
“It just felt like it was Oprah taking advantage of a really toxic family’s internal situation.
“She kind of comes off as a snake oil salesman today.
“I just think that people don’t trust her the way that they used to.”
How is it that a woman who is overweight, never been married, and never had kids has become the guru for what to eat, tips for marriage, and how to raise children?

What Oprah allowed Megan to do to the royal family on her show was so unprofessional, Megan made Oprah look like a complete fool.The royal family opened up their doors, allowed Oprah into their personal space, was nothing but gracious and welcoming to her and she turned around and thanked them for their hospitality by allowing Megan to use her show to attack that family unfairly. Oprah did not even bother to fact check anything, not even the stuff that was public knowledge.(like Archie not being entitled to a title under Queen Elizabeth) She had to know Megan was lying about certain things and she never even tried to call her out on it, or probe a little deeper. That interview should have ruined Oprah, she has zero credibility after that shambles.

Yes, I heard her and a number of African - American co-workers talking quite disrespectfully off camera about a caucasian woman because she didn't get how difficult hair management was for black women. Her tone was very different to that she uses on her TV show and public appearances.

When Oprah first started I quite enjoyed her. She was new in the talk show. After a while it got stupid and sensational. The interview with the two clowns showed the world what Oprah is all about. She is not a journalist- she is out for sensational headlines and drama. She quite makes me sick. Especially with the Maui land buying.
Way back when Oprah started, I would watch her and liked her enthusiasm but years later she started promoting things on her show and I didn't like her sales pitch ' snake- oil salesman ' show and lost interest in her completely.
There were two programs that my husband absolutely refused to have in our home. One was Oprah and the other was doctor Phil. My husband is absolutely delighted to hear she has been compared to snake oil salesman! Gotta say I don't care for either one of them.

Oprah facilitated that pair to carry out their first "platform of hate to the world". All done in the name of big bucks. What happened in that interview was pure Evil. I was stunned by the quietly-spoken jealousy, hatred and fakery which rolled out of Rachel Ragland's mouth, whilst putting on her innocent act - and Hawwy whining alongside her when he was allowed to enter the scene. When Ragland and Oprah first appeared on camera and smothered each other with all that smarmy gushy-gushiness, I felt quite nauseous.
Honestly…I think the majority of us viewers, felt some very serious “CRINGE”…

I have never liked Oprah! Especially after she revealed she had been assaulted as a child, but was conflicted because it felt good. She has to be sick. I was assaulted since I was three years old and I assure you, it didn’t feel good. I didn’t have a happy childhood, I’m almost seventy and still have nightmares about it. Not a good person.

I remember he was discussing his childhood sexual abuse and she was saying when someone touches you down there it feels good and you are confused beause you know it's wrong but physically it feels good. I agree with the comment(s) about losing respect for Oprah after the MM and HH interview. I used to watch Oprah, didn't always agree with her, but mostly her show was entertaining. Since the Harry and Meghan interview and her "soft" approach to challenge anything they they said, I lost all respect for her. The lies that were spewed have done so much damage. Oprah has many things in her past that prove she isn't the wonderful humanitarian that she likes to promote.
The interview started a ripple effect that still being felt. All these terrible things ppl are saying about the rf especially Princess Catherine all started with that interview. There were so many gaps when those 2 spoke and Oprah intentionally didn't seal those holes by asking questions. Instead she let those 2 control the narrative. She did it to add drama and turmoil just for sake of ratings and publicity.

I never trusted her one tiny bit after the Meghan and Harry interview and before that I was a true fan. That was just bad acting in my point of view and I’ve never watched or read any of her material since. My daughters who are in their 30’s and myself had to agree to disagree but they weren’t old enough to have for any past royal headliners. At least when our beloved Dianna left she did so with much more dignity and will be forever loved.

I stopped admiring Oprah decades ago when I saw a video of her talking about all the ways she tried to kill the baby inside her and when it was born it was sickly and when he died her only emotion was relief that he was dead. Her coldness and her dead eyes while she talked about him gave me chills. That woman is COLD. I also hated how she used to throw the race card at unsuspecting shop workers for PR when she was pimping black movies. She is NOT a good woman.
