To be honest I thought both of your dances were undermarked and the judges were very harsh. Yes they weren’t perfect but you did a lot better than the judges made out and I loved both of them!

I would be curious to hear joe talk about how long it takes to get comfortable dancing with someone so passionately. Constant body contact, long hours, incredible team work, the amount of trust you have to have in each other.

Honestly, I was wondering if I was losing my mind when I thought I saw that too.
You can see Joe actually pulls his head back a bit, as if avoiding (a kiss?). Maybe something to do with the fact that they were recording and Joe could have been paranoid that the footage could get leaked or something. But then he gives her the biggest hug, as he points out himself. It's sweet.

the Viennese Waltz, to me, was an absolute beauty. pure attitude. I actually ended up crying! mainly cause of how proud I was. Both when I first watched it and now I still think your Viennese waltz was absolutely stunning. I remember being so mad at the score. I said something along the lines of 'so what if there's a bit of rise and fall, it's gorgeous!' You told a story and really sold it. I know it's a new year and I'm very late commenting on this but I thought it was gorgeous and is still one of my favourites of yours. I also loved the Argentine tango. That week really was fantastic. You so deserved to get to the final!
