I love helicopters, but WHAT HELICOPTER? Someone is a lucky man... helicopter AND a gorgeous wife? (Hey, you asked for it buddy.) But I always heard it called a cyclic... "sick-lick", not "sigh-click"). Her body needs to learn how to fly... heh heh. :) Nice mosquito, Jerry!
Oh wow! I always wondered how they work. Very informative. So cool you don’t need a license to fly this, being an ultra lite and all. I want one!!!! 🤗🚁
Jerry is she married ? If she is stay away from her ok . Trying to get close to her ain't you jerry ? I could fall in love with a woman like her very easy .
First, Heather, Yummy. Next would like to have seen how the, I believe he said cylic plate or swash plate actually was manipulated at the rotor head. Sorry you went a bit too fast there, thats something I've always been interested in.
Peter Szarow. Yummy? Are you married to her? Everyone needs to repent of their sins and put faith in Jesus Christ alone to save them from Hell and from the power and presence of sin. The Bible says, 27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Matthew 5:27-30) 4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4) 16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. (John 3:16-20)
Jerry Wilson this is just the best video I have watched today great content. And the only one where someone explains something to someone on screen. The heli is beautiful to look at as is heather. Can you and she make more please ? Ps love your shepherd too.
Heather was an excellent choice for this tutorial. Who could resist watching the video all the way to the end. Her smile is enthralling. Very informative video by the way, just grease those squeaky controls .
Nice piece of machinery!! Noticing the locking hardware and all the nice machining. The main rotor head and tail rotor linkages are nice pieces of engineering. Helicopters are such amazing "contraptions", which is the appeal. I get the impression from earlier postings that you might be involved in the company that makes these kits; if so, thanx for making this activity available to more people who can't afford the full-blown machines.
Just thought of something. When hovering an RC helicopter with the nose pointing at you left becomes right and forward becomes backward on the cyclic input and takes a bit of getting used to. So it would be like you sat in the seat applying left cyclic and the helicopter rolling to the right.
O amigo, você ficou conversando muito e mostrando muito a moça e poucos detalhes construtivos da aeronave. Deixou a desejar. Não gostei. Melhore nos próximos vídeos, se quiser ganhar "likes". Opinião sincera!
Explain the "controls are offset 90 degrees" thing a bit more. I don't recall that from poking spinning gyroscopes. When I poked them they'd just start some kind of weird precession... but then I was poking them at the top.
Errr.... when a force is applied to anything, I think a reaction from that force should occur immediately, unless you are getting into einstein territory... ....and being sure to look at things on a molecular level, no macro level, which could hide a reaction because of the elasticity of the object. For example, kicking a soccer ball, the soccer ball will not immediately move in total because of inertia, but it certainly is deforming and reacting at the point of impact and the reaction is traveling through the air inside and across the surface of the soccer ball...
RPM means revolutions per minute, It's how fast the blades turning, or this case how fast the engine is turning. You always want to keep your RPM's in the green, remember more power to the engine more left pedal input for lift. It's basically the same as your car engine ( when checking your timing their checking your RPM's. Hope this was helpful?
this is awesome! what are the rules and restrictions on running them on private property? is there like a ceiling where you can operate without having to contact controllers? or can you really only run these in uncontrolled airspace?
Are there actually High Quality Kits available for Making a Helicopter of this obvious Quality, as there are for other Experimental Airplanes? What an Awesome Ride!! I used to watch a TV Show when I was little, I called “WHIRLYBIRDS”. It came out in 1957, and ran for 3 Seasons. I used to draw that Helicopter all the time.... and I wanted to become a Helicopter Pilot when I was little, but never did. I became Skilled enough to Build one however, being a very Skilled Welder and an R&D Machinist... but Money is the Major stumbling block on being able to do that!
Thanks Jerry! That was very educational for all of us out here that love helicopters, but that don't know a thing about them. Very nice of you to share. Heather in now a STAR! I love you Heather, can I have your autograph? :D
That's really interesting how you fly that thing? That's not something you just jump into and you can fly it. That thing looks dangerous. If you don't know what you're doing. Or you don't have the coordination? Tell Heather Lehi hi says hi.... LOL HA HA HA
Hi Jerry, I hope I don't bother, I've seen a lot of your videos about helicopters, I really want to make one at home. I would like some support, on the subject. Thank you. Congratulations.
Guaranteed😜...I noticed U wasn't too precise on details w/Heather, probably due to the fact, U didn't need to receive a text that she was on her way to the grocery store in it! 😄...
The reduction belts should be replaced at the first sign of any wear. Nearly all components are replaced at the 500 hour inspection, some sooner than that.
i wonder, does the mosquito have enough power for two people to fly? it obviously wouldn't be safe, but could it even get off the ground? nobody on youtube was crazy enough to attempt it, according to the search results.
billt460 - Go look up "dissymetry of lift", it is helicopters 101 stuff. In a nutshell, helicopter rotors are built to deal with this automatically, there is no action required from the pilot to specifically address this (except keep airspeed within limits). Advancing blade flaps up, retreating blade flaps down, effectively changing their angles of attack (thus lift) balancing out the lift on both sides when the helicopter moves at any nonzero speed.
It's not called a disk, its called the PITCH, you know, the angle of blade that cuts into the air. Blades don't spin, they rotate, otherwise great presentation.
It would make a great toy for kids named Rockefeller, Gates, Buffett, etc. Not so practical for the masses. You may be on to something though, a remote instructor who could over-ride while a student learns. My earlier comment about a plane anyone could fly presumed the pilot would be inside the plane and fly it safely without instructions. It's possible to build a plane like that.
@aqueousone That would be a nice back-up when a safe autorotation is not possible. Air bags under the seat would be nice too. Even safer would be to just leave it in the garage, however, to live a good life one should live as though one had already died.
hello! I'm very interested. I wish and I to have such a mosquito. can you tell me where you bought all its parts? I noticed that there are more people who have patterns identical to yours. thank you so much, I expect an answer. I apologize for my English, I'm from Italy.
technicaly speaking the blades do not take a "bite" of air . what is happening is the blades as they change pitch there is low pressure on top of the blades. And high underneath the blades thus giving the helicopter lift.
+FASTPISTOLDRAW I'd disagree. As in a fixed wing airplane, the rotors are just like wings. It tales a measure of angle of attack, the rotor or wing actually DOES scoop or bite the air. This is HOW the low pressure above and high pressure below is created. Pitch is the degree to which the angle of attack is applied to get more or less lift. I have read all comments bellow, most of people are talking about how hot heather is ! and they do not talk about the purpose of the movie ! isn't that stupid ?
I too fly RC helis and I often wonder when someone will come out with servo drives to run the collective and Cyclic, so as to be able to operate the heli from 2 sticks similar to a radio.. It just seems it would be so simple to fly compared to the skills needed to fly them as they are set up now. Having said that, maybe a real heli pilot who has never flown RC would say the RC setup seems very complicated?
get Heather back for another tutorial!
I learned two things...how a helo works and I really like Heather!
She cute!, but were and how did you train before you could fly and how many hours did it take?
Thanks for explaining the operation
Heather is a sweetheart.
I dig her.
@@optimuscprime great
Heather is absolutely Gorgeous!!!
Yep , shes a cuttie

Please tell Heather she has the prettiest hair i think i have ever seen:)
Que hermosa mujercita .tan femenina.solo no me gustó cuando acarició al perro.
Hey, isn't that The Famous Heather?
It's not Heather Brooke ...
How a helicopter works..
A: it beats the air into submission
Lesson over ;) Jk great video
shes very attractive in a wifely kind of way, a naturally beautiful and elegant woman and not a tart

Well done video! Better if she had been in a bikini.
What RPM is too great for the rotors?
beautifull woman
Jimmy .Jazz, you are showing your “ Ignorance, “to the world , Moron.
Helicopter is great but heather is hot
Why not put a governor on the throttle? Consistent head speed makes for more stability...
No ballistic parachute on the rotor head?
@cardioflow She is a beauty, for sure. Heather too!
Right
good learning sister.
Jerry, Great video. You sound a lot like Tom Seleck.
I'll forward your comments. She is a doll, isn't she!

An ultralight helicopter, a sure-fire way to pick up women! LOL!
Hey... Plz make a video on swash plate working

Mosquito. $40,000 factory built. Less if you assemble it yourself.

I plan to do this too. Build a homebuilt piston powered helo, convince my wife to fly it, and then collect the life insurance.
Pappy Gunn 😃
I'm pretty sure this is Jerry's daughter in law... or daughter. And she won't be in the mail anytime soon,
Good work putting Heather in the vid.
Good video. I don't think I'd have the guts to fly an ultralight helicopter. I admire your sense of adventure!
Ei guerreiro vende um desse pra mim no preçinho na moral mermo gostei muito bom parabéns
Thank you Jerry, and Heather!
Heather is hot. I think you should teach her to fly.
Wow heather you are a hot little fox..!!! Yelp you are famous now..!!! Lol..!!!
I like how you speak to her with respect. I sense love in you. You seem worthy to be a father. Well done.
I try to speak to everyone like that, especially children.

Thanks !

You don't need a license to fly an ultra light??? For real?
tenacious645 not for that model, or the one with a body and floats. the other models with a body you do need a license to fly them
The FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA)voted unanimously against approving a license for someone to commit suicide!! 🤣....

Nice video...!
I want one. Or both. Stunningly beautiful.

How to assamble helicopter engine

I would
Lady pls dont fly this helipcopter b'coz ur so beautiful and the heli its not looking so safe..
It's not called a disk, its called the PITCH, you know, the angle of blade that cuts into the air. Blades don't spin, they rotate, otherwise great presentation.
I have flown RC helicopters at competition level and this looks like a full size RC helicopter
I'm jealous. You're a lucky guy. Thanks for the video.

Headband ! no helmet !
There's nothing better than an awesome machine with a pretty girl in it :o)
I get the impression Heather is in full charge when it comes to anything like that. She doesn't wait for any man to run out and defend her.
2:35 We have a bad ass over here and I like it.
Alex Ω this guy is stupid
@aqueousone That would be a nice back-up when a safe autorotation is not possible. Air bags under the seat would be nice too. Even safer would be to just leave it in the garage, however, to live a good life one should live as though one had already died.
Thanks for that "God from the machine".
Nicely explained. My co-star was nowhere near as attractive as yours. :)
Is this how a helicopter works?
Aloha Heather.
You are a beautiful lady.

STEVE R JR false, just like a variable pitch prop. Some of the resulting thrust come from the AOA of the blades and not from the airfoil itself
Oh please Steve, this lesson was for laymen (nice work Jerry), and not for aeronautical engineers. Chill!
