If Stewarts spotter doesn't mess up, they make it back to the line and we would have had the wildest Talladega finish ever. Granted those last two laps were the wildest laps at Talladega I've ever seen.
Yeah it was a spotter mistake. Tony took blame on behalf of his team being that the driver is the spokesperson. Doesn't negate the fact that the spotter didn't relay to Tony the bottom lane had a head of steam that began 5 rows back. Tony wasn't told there was a car inside him until he had already gone around.
Can somebody tells me what driver has never blocked in is career ?? You may like or dislike or hate Tony Stewart, but he is entertaining, he owns reporters, and sponsors like that, and I like too.
That’s on the spotter. Hardly any info being given compared to others I’ve heard. No mention at all of the 55 making a huge run on the bottom.... until it was too late.
If everybody remembers the 2004 Talladega race Dale jr. Had that one go back and look at it who did NASCAR let win that race.... I was there in 2004 I saw the last laps it was Dale Junior's when but they give it to Gordon
The spotter fucked up, he told Tony to go high when Waltrip had the biggest run on the bottom and by the time Tony came up Matt was already at his quarter panel and Tony probably looked in the mirror and saw Waltrip haulin ass and started to come down but it was to late.
Nope, I wouldn't think any different. Not a jr fan. And I read what you wrote, "More a spotter mistake than anything". That doesn't sound like blaming tony to me, I'm not mad either. Every driver has made a mistake at one point or another. No point in defending them when they do though, and why go after michael? Always in the way? How can someone that catches another driver from behind be in the way? Tell me.
Spotter mistake? Last time I checked the spotter doesn't drive the car. Oh and tony took full blame after the race so I don't know what more you delusional stewart fans need...

Spotter kind of pooped the bed i feel like. He should have seen low line was way faster.
FourOne Two yuuuuup!

Thanks for the great vids! So hard to find good in car stuff.

Tony makes a hell of a move on backstretch with two laps to go.

Indeed - Waltrip and Mears were hauling ass... either the 55 or 13 would have won that race.

Stewarts prime for the daytona 500 this year!
how about a greg biffle?
Dennis Bowen lol yes
Spotter: "Come on up here".
Tony Stewart: *goes down to block*
Who knows what would have happened if he stayed with the outside line.
If he doesn't block, either Mears or Waltrip most likely wins, since they had a big run entering turn 3.
He probably saw Michael Waltrip inside and assumed he'd be slow.
LOLOLOLLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLL yeah thats pretty true and sad he nevers running up front so ppl get 2 think that
5:53 right about now, Tony Stewart was thinking that trying to block a freight train was probably a bad idea
