- I have lost my everything. There are no words to describe the emptiness
and hurt I feel. My wife battled cancer for five long years. She finally succumbed after a long and courageous fight with grace,dignity and faith.
Gail was my partner in life for 32 years at the time of her death she will remain in my heart forever and the love I have for her will never die.
I love you my Booby.

Your wife was young, Mr. Spencer. 64 years is not that old. My grandmother would tell my mother that you are getting old after you cross 50, but in my book 50 is just midlife.
