Again cool video Rob. And yeah the rear wheels also have different offset. They are at different distances from the fender edge. Annoying, considering that most collectors are perfectionists to some extent. 👍👌 But the look of the car is awesome ❄
Very good review of this interesting model I am with mixed feelings, on the one hand I am very tempted to buy it I love the appearance of a GT racing car, but... I do not like those white wheels at all, if I bought it I would exchange them for some OZ Racing hehehe
To me GT Spirit delivers pretty good stuff in general, but their quality control... it's like they just can't get out of their own way! They could be a really great brand if they just delivered a reliable base-line quality. With a little more effort they could really shake up a the lower-end resin scene and 'Kyosho' could stop messing around and just make 'respectable quality opening die-cast metal' 1:18 cars instead of trying to serve 'two masters'.
That $120 usd isn't always the case sadly. Picking them up on the aftermarket many of these run $180 usd. RWB burning a hole in my pocket. Edit: still love this car. All those cars with character I swear. For this particular model could something be wedged into the wheel well to put slight pressure on the wheel that is causing the wobble to fix the issue?
Oh I'm old enough to remember Koenig, I was buying Road & Track magazine back then and they featured quite a few Koenig cars. I just don't remember this one
@@ROBSMODELCARS 😂 Actually I may be wrong, I noticed u already did a review some years back of the Koenig Diablo! ua-cam.com/video/Wvif94-9SZg/v-deo.html Plus the rear spoiler on this white one looks different to the Koenig.
@@ROBSMODELCARS Actually the model is based on this car - a relatively recent mod ua-cam.com/video/P0ILbYw1uGQ/v-deo.html it’s made By Kazuki Ohashi - there’s your KO!

I like that a lot more than I expected.
Want that one too?
@@ROBSMODELCARS Haha, I don't think so. Unless we could do a repaint or something unique.
I received one the same issue. I wonder if they all manufactured with that issue…
According to FB posts, they ALL have the same problem
Rob, I've never bought a GT Spirit model. Do the wheels typically roll? Or are these just purely for display?
No rolling wheels, these are sealed static models
What do you call those round revolving platforms and where can I get one.
Very good review of this interesting model

Totally agree

I lv it . I lv all Lamborghinis
You would think since they make low numbered cars they would be made a lot better
Does GT Spirit always have the problem with unlevel wheels?
I have had 3 or 4 now. Not usually but it does happen
Hi Robb the KO is a reference to the Koenig body kit - you’re obviously lucky enough to be too young to remember them - Koenig ☺️
