This was the song my wife sang to me everyday for 3 months when I was in a coma, the nurses told me. It went on to be out wedding song. Thank you franki! 😁
I'm going to see him next Friday. I can't wait! My boyfriend got me tickets for my birthday 6 months ago. I've been so excited to go and 6 months is too long to wait. Lol
At this point, he was 82. And this man can sing BETTER than anyone today!!!!! His voice is just as sharp and in tune as it ever was!!! Keep on rockin', Frankie!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the 4 Seasons in concert when I was 14yrs old back in 1964. After a 54 year lapse, I saw him again last Saturday night (9/30/18). He was even better this time. The man is a legend.
Greg Wilkle I guess your just being sarcastic or just plain nice to Frankie because he certainly doesnt sing as well at 84 as he did in the 60s. If he does then show me the fountain of youth lol
Beachside you completely missed the point made by Greg, I attended this concert and VAlli was great. I wasn’t driving at two years old in 64 so I couldn’t see him but I bet those were some great shows.
THE AUDIENCE DID MOST OF THE SINGING FOR HIM BUT YOU GOTTA GIVE MR VALLI A CREDIT, HE'S BEEN SINGING THIS GREAT SONG SINCE THE LATE 60S. THE TEARS IN HIS EYES, YOU CAN TELL HOW PROUD HE WAS WITH HIS ACCOMPLISHMENT AND HE'S PROUD WITH HIS FANS AND AUDIENCE ON THAT NIGHT.
That's like I saw Paul McCartney a few years ago and when he started singing Hey Jude the audience sang the whole song...without Paul singing, we sounded pretty damn good !!!
@@ginasicina8964 I saw Paul McCartney in Tampa when he and the rest of the band sang to the ISS ....Good Day Sunshine. I saw him twice in ATL and he was great but you could tell he wasnt the same as he was in the 80's or 90's. Im a big fan but people do get old and their voices change. But boy were they good concerts but yeah the audience had a big roll to play making the songs sound good. You always think of the singer when they were at their prime and after a while they sound like they did years ago. Its a mind over matter thing. Actually in Tampa they took parts of it and added it to his dvd. I didnt realize it until my mom saw me and my daughter on his dvd lol. Btw I saw Ringo in Melbourne FL. That guy is the greatest.
It's a great ruse performers use when the energy runs low and the voice isn't quite the same but it's no biggie everyone knows the score but still have a good time.
Not to sound weird or creepy, but I used to sing this to my daughters when they were babies to get them to fall asleep. They still remember it to this day and love this song. Same with “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison. Love you Shannon and Alyssa!
Fernando Graça even if he do that.. i can accept that.. age can not lie,.. but, still better than nowadays singers who choose lipsync in his/her productive age..
You should clear ears & eyes, I've been in the audio business for 30 years and I can detect lipsynching. There is a good amount of FX processing and autotune, but the singing is live. Tell me the exact time of the video where you can exactly detect lip sync, I'll be with you
For all the negative comments it so unnecessary. This man is still doing his thing at 80+ even if it’s with help. What are ur accomplishments? What if anything will you be doing at this age? If your even still here. So can we have some respect for our elder musician’s still doing their thing. Geese what an ugly, mean spirited world we live in. IJS Faith🙋🏽
Sorry, it’s just when people rave about how amazing his voice has remained into his 80s it’s a little difficult to swallow. I love the man, don’t get me wrong at all. But if you think for one second that’s not 90% lip-synch then you need to get your head examined.
Frankie Valli , continui lo stesso!! Bravo!!! Grazie per la bella canzone che più mi piace! Dio ti benedica sempre!! Dalla Claudia, Brasile, San Paolo, SP 🎊🌹🌹🌹🌹🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🎈🎈🎈🎈
Good music touches you so deeply and with care, that you can't help but cry, be it happy or sad or anything in between. I'm 62 and This song made me cry like a friggin baby.
This was my husband and mine favorite song, especially when it was used in the DeerHunter. We would run into the theater when it would start, and then run out. What wonderful memories I have with him, thanks to Frankie. Live long and keep the music playing. Love and hugs from NYC. My husband passed in 1991, but the song is still our favorite.
This is my favorite English song. The arrangement is very good, and the wind music of the chorus is the crowning touch. Frankie Valli is a legendary singer.

Frankie Valli one of the legends that is still alive thank God yes Frankie I have your tapes which are CDs I went to Jersey boys front row seats opening show and saw you I thought my heart was gonna melt cause you I grew up with you my parents listen to your music you’re one of the best or you will still have my billboard book from Jersey boys and then we’ll go to Florida and Jersey boys played here and I went again and saw them but nothing like a New York Broadway show and you always come through. And with me I can’t take my eyes off of you.
That is just an AMAZING SONG. I came to this country when i was 7 years old. One of the first songs that I fell in love with was this one, even though I didn't know the lyrics I was amazed by how soft and romantic it sounded. I'm 41 now and I still love it, the best part is that I know the lyrics now, dedicated it to my son's Mom "there's nothing else to compare" so true, I loved her, and I think I still do, sooooo much. Thanks to Mr. Valli for this amazing song. I now believe when some singers say that music is universal, it's true.
Ive seen Frankie Valli and the original Four Seasons a handful of times starting in 1967 at the Atlantic City Steel Pier, and At St Joe's Field House, in 1970 at the Stardust Club in Wildwood. in the 90s and 200X it was Mr Valli and four other very good singers at Lenape Performing Arts in NJ and most at the Westbury Music Fair in LINY, Love that music because I graduated high school in '67. the the Anthology and Frankie Valli Solo album on my phone. HE and THEY are the BEST,
Frankie Valli was one of the best performers from 1960s as Raphael (Spanish singer), Leo Dan, Leonardo Favio, Palito Ortega, Leslie Gore, Dusty Springfield, Jeanette (English singer who sang in Spanish), King Clave, Jairo, Sandro, José Luis Rodríguez (the cougar from Venezuela), and more.
Come on people, click the thumbs up. This kind of music needs to live on forever...
Wouldn’t have it any other way
How right you are!!!!
Amen!!

Lip synching. Sorry. He gave up live singing 30 years ago.

Not weird at all. I've done similar, we do whatever works.
I don't think there's something weird bro. The lyrics work for anyone. Daughter, Girlfriends, boyfriends whomever.
