look at 7:32, its a reeeally bad transition behind the electric toilet (wood panel). Why hasnt he noticed that, i would fire the contractor.
he said like three times that its not finished yet. And why fire someone if you can have him fix it? you saw what a good job he did on the house or did you watched with your eyes closed?
Ok, seriously, when you pay a premium price for the "toilet" that is similar to others paying for the complete job renovating a bath, then you have a high standard. Which is not wrong, just that there are solutions that provide acoustic properties (board layers) in addition to solid wood without cladding, which the bathroom deserves.
Ex instead of cheap 2.4m pre cut boards/sheeds(with laminated oak), contractor should order acoustic sheets, then running meters of real oak.
Therefore im really surprised in this price range that this is an option......

Those outlets and lighting are a must. The cost of adding them during construction, is minimal, compared to adding them after the fact if you change your mind. Those bathrooms are too much, by the time Mike figured out all the crazy adjustments, i will already be getting dressed.

You know the house was designed by a bunch of bachelors, considering garage was the best part of the house. Lol. I mean its good as an Airbnb, but the house completely lacks warmth or comfort. Kitchen was the biggest disappointment. Just some fancy faucets and that bookmarking thing in a claustrophobic room with no windows/open space or natural light. Like who would like to cook, sit or eat there? Its only good for opening the packing and microwaving.
You are aware that his house is not yet finished and that warmth will surely settle in once it's complete, right? Besides, it's obvious that the windows are still covered with protective film due to the ongoing construction or were deliberately darkened for the video for privacy reasons, which logically results in less light coming in. Furthermore, interior design is a matter of taste and does not require your subjective opinion - especially not when it’s apparent that you have a "TikTok aesthetic," as suggested by your statement that the garage was your highlight. Your envy is undeniable! A little self-reflection wouldn’t hurt you.
I also adore your suit, tie, shirt, shoes and crystal bracelet... I have seen so many this week at the gem show in Tucson. Impeccable taste.

Edit: Actually, the more I think about it, the more it make sense..there's always been that time that your enjoying a hot soak but suddenly realise your Thirsty and don't want to walk through the house all wet.
Plus its hidden and not inside the main bedroom. He can make a coffee in the morning before/after a shower etc and the noise of the machine won't disturb his partner who might still be sleeping. Can have shower beers/coffees lol. Pretty good idea imo
Makes sense for busy mornings so you can wake up, shower, dress then you're ready to go without leaving that one area. And you can take the coffee with you out the door or you can drink at while you get ready.

Marc and his book marking? It's book matching not marking.. Also the water fall marble when it continues is not not book matching it's just a continued piece of marble. Book Matching is when you take one piece of wood slice it thin open the slices up like a book and two pieces match up.
