- A fast-paced video about the darkness of Dylan McKay, his mistakes, and his addictions. Dylan's friends are always there for him, however, and he cares about them deeply even when he doesn't make the right choices. I had fun with this one, and even though it focuses on Dylan's shortcomings, we all know that underneath that cold exterior lies a heart of gold. Enjoy and feel free to comment. P.S. There's also some Dylan/Kelly mixed in...I couldn't resist. :)
Our generation was so lucky to have 90210. This was our go to show- you couldn’t miss an episode! Shows are not comparable these days… it’s sad. Everything was different back then, so much better.

Dylan was the man on that show! I remember when he left in season 6. I contemplated not watching the show anymore after his departure. But, I stuck with it. It was still pretty good after Dylan left but it was still missing something. Then, when I heard that he was returning in season 9, oh I was thrilled! When season 9 began, I watched watched each week wondering "ok...when is Dylan's return?". Then, when the episode in which he made his long awaited return aired....oh...I had chills. It was at the end of the episode, but that was ok, because he was back, and unlike before, this time, he wasn't going anywhere. Then, the rest of season 9 was great with Dylan back. It was wonderful having him back, even if they did recycle an old story line from the 5th season with the drug addiction and what not. Season 10 was...so so...even with Dylan, but the show had run it's course by then. Luke was an amazing guy. I am thankful to him for returning to Beverly Hills 90210 and giving us fans more Dylan McKay. I wish he had never left because imagine how awesome the rest of season 6, season 7, and season 8 could have been had Dylan never left. But, it at least he came back. Bringing Jack McKay back to life in season 10 was not the best idea as it ruined a lot of what Dylan had been through. But...it was what it was.

I am rewatching after years and he's my favorite character so knowing he leaves in season 6 then comes back in season 9 is great. Let's me know which seasons to skip lol
@@kgrimes842 I’d say jump ahead from when he leaves in season6 to when he returns in season 9 but, you may miss some stuff along the way so some things in season 9 may not make a lot of sense, LOL. So I say probably don’t skip anything. It’ll make his return that much better when you get to it 🙂
It's better for Dylan not to be there than being there without Brenda.
I did'nt even care much for the music and yet watched it three times. If there's not a job for you in editing, somethings wrong with the world. Hats off, very well done!

RIP Luke Perry, he looked like James Dean's twin. Dylan Mckay had a charisma to him, but that's because the guy playing him brought that to life. I know the show was built around Brandon Walsh and his sister Brenda, at least in the beginning; but it was Mckay that people were drawn to. What a fascinating character, the girls loved him, and I hated him as a kid. I didn't understand things like I do now, Dylan Mckay is so intriguing, he's a fictional character, but we can always pretend. This video captures that, it captures that bad boy, that bad boy that we all secretly what to be, or for the women want to know; without the real drama of course. Bottom line it's just an amazing video.
RIP Luke Perry, the second coming of James Dean as Mckay. Dylan Mckay is the king of cool, I didn't realize it at the time and didn't like him then, but now I know he was the man, part of me dreams of being this bad boy, it's the total opposite of me. Don't wish for the problems and addictions. Dylan Mckay had a charisma, but that's because the man that played him, Luke Perry, brought him to life.
What a video! I can't believe Luke is gone. I used to watch 90210 as a kid, and Dylan Mckay had charisma, but that's because the actor playing him brought that charisma to life! Dylan was cool. He was that bad boy that you knew was trouble, had problems, and made mistakes, but his coolness and charisma drew you to him. We all wanted to be him. Perry looked like James Dean's twin brother, and both epitomized cool. RIP Luke. Dylan Mckay is one of the greatest characters ever presented on screen in my opinion.

God, I just started watching the series, and I just saw this video and I'm really surprised.. I mean it is so great in depicting the bad and sad side of Dylan (he is such a complex character after all) and the song is just perfect..
