Frankly I just came here to do this exercise quickly and mindlessly... What I didn't expect was to actually understand everything and learn with pleasure! Thank you so much!
This was really helpful! I am taking a cisco networking class for the first time, and the way you break everything down and don't skip steps is excellent. You're a great teacher!
I wanted to reach out 3 years later to say I completed my intro to network instructor accreditation. This video helped me get there when I was getting started!
As a professional IT instructor i confirm that this video material is pure class and the explanation from the author is outstanding. Thank you for your help. You are educating people.
Thank you for making these videos and taking time to help 🙏🏼 The whole thing was confusing but you thoroughly explained and even wrote down what to do and everything.
Honestly I had no subscribed but now I did after this video because all of my schooling I’ve been helped so much by your video, I like that you explain everything so well, I really appreciate your channel
Thanks, had a lot of trouble with this particular assignment, and this was very helpful. I'll keep your channel in mind if I ever have any more trouble!
thank you so much , i was going crazy because i was getting an error message everytime i tried to configure the PCs ip adresses , thanks to you i finished it!
you are the best man the information that you give with the subnets and host and stuff is so helpfull thank you a lot i am going to subscribe for sure !!!
Hey getting great help with learning doing these sessions but i noticed that your G0/= interface ip address 192.168.0.1 is the same as LAN-A Switch 192.168.0.1. i assume as the assigment said for switch a.2 ''Use the second host address for the LAN-A switch.'' that it is just a typo as i would assume it should be 0.1 for G0/0 (customerRouter) and 0.2 for LAN-A Switch
Excellent video! I just spotted a small error. Question 2 says to use the second host address for Switch A but, in the spreadsheet, you listed the Switch A address as 192.168.0.1 (the same address as CustomerRouter.)
I already found the answer. The config is right on Lan B-Switch vlan1 the ip address is 2nd usable ip address. The Lan A-Switch is wrong ip address you used 1st usable ip address on Vlan 1 which should be the right ip address is the 2nd usable ip address.
I am confused on the # of subnets, the table my professor provided us with on the PowerPoint shows the same prefix, subnet mask, network address, and # of host. But not the same # of subnets as this video says. For prefix /25 the table shows 512 # of subnets. Does someone know which one I should go off of?
thank you for this ....now one question, on the default gateway addressing in the ip configutation , what if you left it as 0.0.0.0 ? would it still work????
Part 1 Step 2 b, 2) instruction says: 2nd host address to LAN-B switch. 1st was 0.65 for 2nd network so 0.66 being 2nd host address goes to switch. I am sure you figured that by now. :)

Question. Why did you assign 192.168.0.66, instead of 192.168.0.65? when the first usable is 65 instead of 66? this is on VLAN1 Lan B-Switch. Thanks!
I already found the answer. The config is right on Lan B-Switch vlan1 the ip address is 2nd usable ip address. The Lan A-Switch is wrong ip address you used 1st usable ip address on Vlan 1 which should be the right ip address is the 2nd usable ip address.

Hello, I have a question here, how to make sure that you have 50 hosts so that the other 12 do not stand idle
While subnetting, we cannot assure all the IP Address can be utilized. There will be some additional IP, if not using all!

cant we just use 192.168.0.1 then 192.168.0.2 and so on for the subnet addresses?
Hi
For different subnet, we have to make changes in the network portion.
Thanks man
You're welcome!
Why is LAN-B switch 192.168.0.66, if the default gateway is 192.168.0.65
Part 1 Step 2 b, 2) instruction says: 2nd host address to LAN-B switch. 1st was 0.65 for 2nd network so 0.66 being 2nd host address goes to switch. I am sure you figured that by now. :)
